VI. Závěr Katalog Sbírky Britských Vojenských Knoflíků Dokumentuje - 120 - VI. Záv ěr Katalog sbírky britských vojenských knoflík ů dokumentuje svým nezam ěnitelným a specifickým zp ůsobem historii Velké Bri- tánie. Knoflíky vojenských jednotek odrážejí nejenom bohatou historii jejich ozbrojených složek, ale i politické a kulturní události, jenž Spojené království ovliv ňovaly v posledních staletích. Zejména panovnickou rodinu a její rodinné p řísluš- níky, imperiální zahrani ční politiku výrazn ě ovliv ňující sv ě- tové d ění, zejména v 18., 19. a první polovin ě 20. století. Dále zde m ůžeme nalézt prvky územního uspo řádání království na jednotlivé historické zem ě a hrabství, ke kterým mají jednot- livé pluky územní p říslušnost, nebo klanovou p říslušnost v případ ě skotských jednotek. Církevní a duchovní symboly v podob ě zemských patron ů. Sbírka reprezentuje, krom ě sb ěratelství knoflík ů, také jedno z mnoha odv ětví, v poslední dob ě velmi populárního sb ě- ratelství militárií. Mohla by se však stát i vhodnou sou částí sbírek vojenského historického muzea, zejména sbírky vojen- ských uniforem nebo odznak ů. V této práci jsou uvedeny poznatky a zkušenosti se zpra- cováním katalogu sbírky britských vojenských knoflík ů, jejich ur čování, popisu, čišt ění, uložení a prezentací. V kapitole o sb ěratelství se nacházejí obecné informace k tomuto sběratel- skému odv ětví a odkazy na kluby sb ěratel ů. Katalog m ůže být vhodnou a praktickou pom ůckou pro sb ěra- tele, muzejníky či zájemce o vojenskou historii - 121 - Resumé Tato práce je katalogem sbírky Britských vojenských knof- lík ů, zahrnující sbírkové p ředm ěty jenž se staly její sou částí od 31.8. 2004 do 17. 10. 2007. Katalog dopl ňuje obecná část pojednávající o sb ěratelství knoflík ů, vznik a vývoj sbírky, sbírkotvorný plán, ur čování a popis sbírkových p ředm ětů, pé či o sbírkové p ředm ěty a popis použitých postup ů p ři zpracování katalogu. Na textovou část navazuje obrazová s fotografiemi vybraných sbírkových p ředm ě- tů.
