    - 120 - VI. Záv ěr Katalog sbírky britských vojenských knoflík ů dokumentuje svým nezam ěnitelným a specifickým zp ůsobem historii Velké Bri- tánie. Knoflíky vojenských jednotek odrážejí nejenom bohatou historii jejich ozbrojených složek, ale i politické a kulturní události, jenž Spojené království ovliv ňovaly v posledních staletích. Zejména panovnickou rodinu a její rodinné p řísluš- níky, imperiální zahrani ční politiku výrazn ě ovliv ňující sv ě- tové d ění, zejména v 18., 19. a první polovin ě 20. století. Dále zde m ůžeme nalézt prvky územního uspo řádání království na jednotlivé historické zem ě a hrabství, ke kterým mají jednot- livé pluky územní p říslušnost, nebo klanovou p říslušnost v případ ě skotských jednotek. Církevní a duchovní symboly v podob ě zemských patron ů.
