The rally is the second round of the 2013 SCCA Great Lakes Division Rally Championship and counts toward the SCCA National Touring Rally Championship (Regional Rally). The route will take competitors over approximately 130 miles of rural roads in the Lake Erie "snowbelt" counties of northeast Ohio. The rally difficulty will be dictated by prevailing road and weather conditions. Competitors should come prepared to spend extended periods of time outside in severe winter conditions. Competitors can expect an absolutely straightforward, gimmick-free time-speed-distance (TSD) road rally. Emphasis will be on precise timing at well-placed controls. A columnar “tulip” route instruction format including official mileages for all action points will be used.
