Education can transform lives. But the current system is focused on making people 'job ready'. Scottish Greens will put more focus on developing life skills not just learning how to pass exams. Scotland's school curriculum is still too reliant on exam success as the only way to measure a child's potential. Many children feel excluded and bored by a system based on memorising facts. Greens hope to support young people in becoming active contributors to society, and help them solve conflicts in a peaceful and nonviolent way.
