He was the first visually impaired person to be approved

as a Minister of State in Ghana He was approved as the first visually impaired minister by Parliament of Ghana on 13th February, 2013.

He is the Minister for Chieftaincy and Traditional Af- fairs.

His education was through the use of Braille equipment.

Dr Daanaa described himself as “a pioneer all my life", noting that he was the first visually impaired person in Ghana to be a lawyer. He was called to the bar on 4th October 1987.
