The proposed Lease Space that AELAS is interested in Leasing from the Borough is an area measuring 50' X 150' for a total of7,500 sq. ft. It is located in the North Wing and within the interior of the old Nikiski Elementary School @ Mile 24 or 50097 North Kenai Spur Hwy. in Nikiski. The concrete block walls appear to be approximately 1 foot thick and would have a much better insulation and energy saving value as well as a more desirable interior/exterior noise suppression factor for the intended use. The portion of the building under discussion has 3 double door entry ways, 4 classrooms and one centrally located entry with restrooms and a storage area. Each classroom area has its own water and drainage system and the entire space appears to be in relatively good condition for a structure this age. Other than minor painting and misc. Tenant improvements the overall condition and location of this facility would more than adequately meet the proposed needs of a facility such as DAPL (Domestic Animal Protection League)

Some are listed by the total monthly Lease rate amount and other's by the price per sq. ft. SUBJECT: Resolution 2014-046: Approving an Ambulance Fee Billing Policy for All Borough Service Areas Providing Patient Transport Services (Mayor)

This ambulance billing policy was developed with significant input from service area boards. Nikiski Fire, Central Emergency Services, and Anchor Point Fire and Emergency all voted in favor of supporting the policy.

Kachemak Emergency Service Area reviewed the policy and offered feedback and changes which were incorporated into this final version, but did not have the opportunity to vote on the final version at their last meeting. They will be reviewing the final policy at their next meeting.

The Mayor wishes to acknowledge and congratulate these service area boards for working so collaboratively ·with the administration to develop this borough-wide policy.

Amend the ninth Whereas clause:

WHEREAS, the CES and CPEMSA joint board at its June 19, 2014 meeting recommended approval of the Ambulance Fee Billing Policy; and

Amend the eleventh Whereas clause:

WHEREAS, the APFEMSA board at its June 18, 2014 meeting recommended approval of the Ambulance Fee Billing Policy; and Page -2- Amendment Memo Resolution 2014-046 July 1, 2014

Delete the final Whereas clause:
