'THE GOOD WITCH’S DESTINY' PREMIERES AS #1 CABLE PROGRAM OF THE DAY AMONG W25-54 RTG; BOOSTING HALLMARK CHANNEL TO RANK #1 IN PRIME TIME Original Movie Delivers 2.4 HH RTG and Reaches Nearly 3.9 Million Unduplicated Viewers Kicking off the holiday season, "The Good Witch’s Destiny" premiered on Saturday, October 26 to great fanfare with nearly 3.9 million total unduplicated viewers tuning in to catch Catherine Bell reprise her role as Cassandra Nightingale. "The Good Witch’s Destiny", the sixth installment in the popular Good Witch franchise, delivered a 2.4 HH rating – and has become Hallmark Channel’s most watched original movie for 2013-to-date among the network’s core demographic, women 25-54. Among the W25-54 rating, the original movie was the #1 ad-supported cable program of the day and the #2 movie of the week. The #2 household-rated cable program of Saturday, the premiere of "The Good Witch’s Destiny" also ranked as the #1 cable movie of the day as well as the #2 movie of the week. In the Saturday, 9-11 pm time period, the original film placed #1 among households (2.4 rtg) and W25-54 (1.3 rtg), and #2 in P2+ (1.3 rtg). In addition, "The Good Witch’s Destiny" was #1 in W25-54 delivery, and #3 in HH (2,117,000) and P2+ (2,817,000) impressions. The Saturday night premiere boosted Hallmark Channel to be the #1 cable network in prime time among W25-54 (1.2 rtg). In "The Good Witch's Destiny", all Cassie Nightingale (Bell) wants for her birthday is for her family and friends to be together, but family drama brews with new family member, Gwen’s estranged son, making trouble for Cassie while her own stepson is determined to take a step that he isn’t ready for. Meanwhile, stepdaughter Lori discovers disturbing parallels between Cassie and Cassie’s great aunt, nicknamed the Grey Lady, who disappeared at her own birthday party years before. As Cassie’s special day is fast approaches and signs of a curse looming over her, it’s clear that Cassie needs to conjure up more than a little magic to make things right again. But when even her loved ones start to wonder how Cassie seems to know everything and be everywhere, the good witch senses that she’s in for a rough ride... It begins with stepdaughter Lori’s writing project, the story of the Grey Lady who once lived in their house many years ago – and who shared more than the same birthday and an amazing physical likeness with Cassie. Then Drew arrives in Middleton, a boastful young man prone to investing fortunes into hopeless scams and blaming others when his projects fail. The person responsible – in his eyes – for his current fiasco and his fiancée’s break-up with him is Cassie. And the vibes he is sending out in her direction are definitely laced with danger. Lori then discovers the Grey Lady’s journal which suddenly breaks off on her birthday, which is also Cassie’s. Brad R. Moore Brad Moore is President - Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions, a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc. In this role he is responsible for all aspects of the Hallmark Hall of Fame, the most honored series in U.S. television history. He has led the Hallmark Hall of Fame for 30 years, nearly half of its 62-year existence. Under his leadership the series has produced over 100 feature-length movies and received 31 Emmy awards (5 for “Best Picture”) plus 7 Golden Globe awards, 4 Peabody awards, and numerous other honors. Those films include the single most honored program in U.S. television history and the four movies with the largest audiences on any U.S. television network over the past 25 years. While leading the Hallmark Hall of Fame, Moore has also has also had other responsibilities at Hallmark. He is currently a director of Crown Media Holdings, which operates the Hallmark Channel; he was president of Hallmark Publishing for 2 years; he directed all Hallmark advertising and promotion activities in the U.S. for 15 years; and for 7 years he directed advertising activities for Hallmark subsidiaries in Europe, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand. Moore had previously been a brand manager and group brand manager at Procter & Gamble. Moore received his BA in English magna cum laude from Southern Nazarene University in 1968 and his MBA in marketing and international business from Northwestern University in 1972. In 2009 he received an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Southern Nazarene University. A proud Sooner by birth, Moore has been privileged to serve in governance roles for a number of industry, not-for-profit, and church-related organizations.

It seemed more like two months. At times, even two weeks. Why? Because even though I have worked in TV for more than three decades, I have never seen our industry undergo such extraordinary — and extraordinarily exciting — changes as it has in recent years. Everywhere you turn, the vanguard is disrupting the old guard with an astonishing new technology, an amazing new show, an inspired new way to structure a business deal. This is not to imply that the more established segments of our industry have been pushed aside. On the contrary, the broadcast and cable networks continue to produce terrific work that is heralded by critics and rewarded each year at the Emmys. And broadcast networks still command the largest viewing audience across all of their platforms. With our medium thriving as never before, this is a great time to work in television, and a great time to be part of the Television Academy. Consider the 65th Emmy Awards. The CBS telecast, hosted by the always-entertaining Neil Patrick Harris, drew our largest audience since 2005.
