THE BRIEF Savills was instructed by Danske Bank to dispose of this landmark listed building in Dublin city centre which required full refurbishment.

Given the prime landmark status of the building and our international media connections, the sale was covered on Bloomberg and generated huge media interest throughout Europe and The United States.

THE Savills was appointed to handle the sale of ELY HQ, a high PROCESS profile bar/restaurant located in the heart of Grand Canal Square.

THE RESULT Given the location and unique attributes of the property, this sale generated huge interest once introduced to the market. The asset was extensively marketed in Ireland, UK and through our European network. The sale was conducted following a very competitive two round bid process.

This is an example of the marketing leverage and exposure we can bring to a particular disposal which we know will have international appeal.

OUR ROLE Savills acted as sole selling agent.

THE Savills handled the sale of 62 Lower Leeson Street, following a 6 week marketing campaign. Our PROCESS client completed an extensive refurbishment of the building and operated a successful bistro and café business in the premises.

Given the unique attributes of the building, the established use and prime city centre location, we conducted a bespoke marketing campaign in conjunction with our client. This involved a targeted campaign of trade occupiers such as restauranteurs, fine food/ wine retailers and café/bistro occupiers. We utilised our extensive Savills network to ensure our client’s property received extensive national and international coverage.

THE RESULT We generated a significant amount of local and international interest in the premises. We agreed terms and completed the sale to an international coffee chain. This is an example of delivering an effective disposal through a tailored marketing strategy and leveraging of our international network.
