1 In Loving Memory of Barbara Pasquinelli 1946 - 2020
Our beloved wife and mother, Barbara Pasquinelli was born in San Francisco in 1946. She got her first horse as a teenager and her love for animals grew. She married Robert Pasquinelli in 1967 and lived on a ranch in Northern California. They moved to Yuma in 1979 with their two sons Mike and Jon. Barbara became a 4-H horse leader in 1980 when Mike became a 4-H member. Jon got his first dairy goat in 1981 and Barbara was hooked. She began raising Nubians and La Manchas and quickly became a 4-H dairy goat leader. As a family they traveled to goat shows for years. Barbara raised La Manchas until 2014 when she passed her herd onto her Granddaughter Emma. Barbara was a lifetime member of the American Dairy Goat Association.
Barbara did entries and wristbands at the Yuma County Fair for many, many years. She loved talking to the kids and enjoyed interacting with exhibitors. Barbara also worked at the California State Fair, Del Mar Fair, Imperial County and Riverside County Fair as the dairy goat superintendent and livestock secretary for many years.
Barbara was at every dairy goat meeting and the kids loved her. She was always teaching them, and she always made sure they were laughing and having fun. If you had a question about your dairy goat, Barbara had the answer. She loved being a 4-H leader and working with they youth of Yuma County.
Barbara loved her family and was proud of all of them. Her oldest son Mike and wife Kammy are also 4-H leaders and their daughter Emma is a 4-H member and raises her grandmothers beloved dairy goats proudly. Her youngest son Jon and wife Laura are a past 4-H member and leader. Their sons Donnie, Brandon, Jon, and Jacob have all been 4-H members. Donnie and Brandon showed dairy goats and Jon and Jacob loved cooking and small engines.
Barbara has left a legacy to Yuma County and will be deeply missed in our 4-H program.

Owners, exhibitors and responsible persons who violate the code of ethics will forfeit premiums, awards, and auction proceeds and shall be prohibited from future exhibition in accordance with the rules adopted by the respective fairs and livestock shows. Exhibitors who violate this code of ethics demean the integrity of all livestock exhibitors and should be prohibited from competition at all livestock shows in the United States. 1. If the laboratory report on the analysis of saliva, urine, or blood sample taken from livestock indicates the presence of forbidden drugs or medication, this shall be prima facie evidence such substance has been administered to the animal either internally or externally. It is presumed that the sample tested by the laboratory to which it is sent is the one taken from the animal in question, its integrity is preserved and all procedures of said collection and preservation, transfer to the laboratory and analysis of the sample are correct and accurate and the report received from the laboratory pertains to the sample taken from the animal in question and correctly reflects the condition of the animal at the time the sample was taken, with the burden on the owner/exhibitor to prove otherwise. The act of entering an animal is the giving of consent by the owner/exhibitor to have disciplinary action taken by the fair or livestock show for violation of this code of ethics and any other rules or competition of the fair or livestock without recourse against the fair or livestock show. The act of entering an animal is the giving of consent that any proceedings or disciplinary action taken by the fair or livestock show maybe published with the name of the violator in any publication of the IAFE, including fairs and exhibitions. 11.
