Students of MES, including scouts, guides, cubs and bulbuls recently visited INS Tarangini, Indian sail training ship, at Hamad Port. The students were given an insight into the specifications of the ship. The objective of the ship, which is on a goodwill mission, is to provide training to the naval off icers as well as other crew members to get a feel of the sea and expose to sailing techniques and skills. The ship has a crew capacity of 40 people. The students were welcomed by Commander Rahul Mehta and the crew. Rajesh, Suchitra Kotian and Rosy Johnson, faculty at MES, headed the contingent.
