VISIT OF THE ICON OF THE HOLY FAMILY: The World Meeting of Families Icon will visit the Killaloe Diocese in the following parishes from July 2-12. Cathedral - July 5-9; St Brendan’s Church Birr - July 9-12. All are welcome to visit and pray at the Icon in preparation for the World Meeting in August.

THE MINISTRY OF PASTORAL CARE & THE MINISTRY OF CATECHIST. The Diocese is inviting people who have an interest in ministering in Pastoral Care and as a Catechist to avail of brochures available this weekend in all Churches. These ministries are voluntary vocational type ministries and are central to the work of the Diocese going forward.

LOURDES AUTUMN PILGRIMAGE: The Diocesan Autumn Pilgrimage to Lourdes leaves from on Sunday afternoon 7th October returning Friday 12th October. ANNUAL KILLALOE DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK SHRINE will take place on Sunday 29th July. Led by Bishop Fintan Monahan. 2:30pm – Anointing of the Sick 3:00pm – Concelebrated Mass. For transport contact Glynn’s Coaches, Ennis at 065-6828234.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Adoration takes place in St John’s Church, Kilmaley every Tuesday from 10.00am to 10.00pm. New adorers welcome.

YOUTH 2000 SUMMER FESTIVAL, Cistercian College, , Co. Tipperary from Thurs 16th to Sunday 19th August. DEMENTIA WORKSHOP: Normal and Not Normal Ageing; Understanding the difference Partners in Homecare are holding a workshop at Orchard Wellness Centre, 1, St Anthony’s Terrace, Harmony Row, Ennis on Tuesday 10th July at 7pm. This workshop will help you recognise and understand “normal” and “not normal” ageing. It will provide essential information on how to have a positive and meaningful relationship with loved ones with Alzheimers or other forms of dementia. Cost €27. CLARE 250 CANCER CENTRE: There will be a coffee weekend held at the Clare 250 Cancer Centre, Ballygriffey July 7th & 8th from 10am - 5pm. All proceeds will go towards the Clare 250 Lourdes Pilgrimage in September for those diagnosed with cancer. All are welcome.

VOLUNTEER WITH CHILDLINE : Childline is Ireland’s only free 24 hour listening service that is available to anyone under the age of 18, and we are currently looking to expand our team in the Limerick region.
