It is very typical of his writing style, dystopian sci-fi vision of the future and its ancillary characteristics (i.e., technology, inclusion of the psychic, etc.) and characters. Anyone who enjoys Philip K Dick will find this book up on a par with most of his other works. In addition, the audio version is quite well read. The reading is never monotone or boring.
