Req.) 5:30 pm month. Copies of the book selected each month will be available approximately one September 24 Read to Thor and Bailey 6:30 pm month prior to the meeting of the club. Most titles will be of a shorter length and will be Hours: Mon. - Thurs. 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. September 29 Evening Book Club 6:30 pm books available in paperback format. We hope you and your friends will enjoy being with us for the start of a new endeavor — no registration is required. October 2014 Thanks to all of the children who participated in the FIZZ! BOOM! READ! summer reading program. Attendance for October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Music and Movement classes for children 10:00 & 11:00 am the many extra programs held at the library showed that the library is indeed appreciated by the community. October 6, 13, 20, 27 Pre-Threes classes for children 10:00 am Miss Kathi’s music programs were well attended and enjoyed throughout the summer months also. As we head October 6, 13, 20, 27 Math for Toddlers 11:00 am into September and the start of school for many children, remember to keep encouraging them to read and take time to read to the younger children. The library is always adding new books to be enjoyed by the whole family. October 7, 14, 21, 28 Been There Done That classes for children 10:00 am Take time to help children learn a new hobby or musical instrument by bringing home books about painting, October 7, 14, 21, 28 Science for Toddlers 11:00 am drawing, crafts, music, sports and other activities you can engage in as a family. We currently have 4 jigsaw October 1, 8, 22, 29 Computer classes for adults 10:30–11:30 am puzzles available to be worked on in the library, so be sure to put a few pieces in place when you stop in. October 4, 11, 18, 25 Needlers Club for adults 1:00–4:00 pm Encourage friends with new babies to take advantage of the music and October 7, 14, 21, 28 Teen Film Club 4:00 pm movement classes on Thursdays. Babies love music and dancing with their Moms! Toddlers will also enjoy music and science on Tuesdays and stories and Math on Mondays! Req.) 6:00–7:00 pm critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter Sheri Miller for a performance titled “Fall in Love”, perfect for couples or romantics. Featuring original works as October 15 Tech Talks (Reg. Req.) 10:30–11:30 am well as covers of popular songs, Sheri will play an eclectic solo set singing October 15 Read to Thor and Bailey 6:30 pm and accompanying herself on guitar.
