Scientific sessions will include plenary lectures and small-group works. Participants will be asked to continuously interact with the Faculty. The aims of the School are to provide partici- pants with practical leadership and research skills to be used in their daily work. During the School, the following topics will be addressed:

How to make research in mental health How to perform statistical analyses How to make presentations How to make posters How to prepare a curriculum vitae How to write scientific papers How to produce good titles How to deal with media How to organize and chair a meeting Prevention, early intervention and outcome of people with schizophrenia? TARGET AUDIENCE AND APPLICATIONS

The School will accept 20 participants selected by the Faculty. The participation fee is 1,500 euros and includes: travel costs, accommodation, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, registra- tion fees and teaching materials. At the end of the School, participants will receive a certificate of proficiency and a one year tutorship on research topics by the teachers of the School.

Each participant should take with him/her a poster and make an oral presentation. Both the poster and the presentation must be in English.

Posters ? The aim of the poster session is to improve participants' skills to prepare posters and successfully attend poster sessions. ? The Faculty will evaluate the formal aspects of the posters, not their scientific content. Posters must not be original and can have already been presented at conferences or meetings: the only criterion is that the participant should have significantly contributed to it. ? Each poster must be 120 cm (height) x 90 cm (width) and be readable at a 2-meter distance.

Presentations ? Each participant will be requested to make a short presentation with slides lasting no more than 10 minutes. The formal aspects of the presentations will be considered, not their scientific content." How to reach Pescocostanzo
