Introduction UrBIOfuture project will contribute to support public-private concerted efforts needed between academy and industry by Boosting future careers, education and research activities in the European bio-based industry. The present document includes Bio-based stakeholders completed and classified list and description of steps taken to complete this list by all project partners. The list of Stakeholders presented in this document complete the current list of members of the Industrial Expert Group (IEG) and Working Group (WG) members crated as part of the Task 4.1. Methodological approach The research to be developed within the UrBIOfuture project is based on an eclectic approach with the use of complementary techniques and instruments for the search of quantitative and qualitative data. The industry and bio-based sector involvement, boosting stakeholders’ interaction: relevant stakeholders are crucial part to create the list covering whole Europe. Completed list of European bio-based companies was the basis for sending the invitation to complete on-line survey about the needs of bio-based industry sector. Each project partner has been assigned to a group of European countries, where this industries had to be identified. Different channels were used to compete the list of stakeholders: - Own partners databases and lists of contacts - Contacts with different European clusters in each country, to identify active bio- based industries - Own partner’s search via internet browsers - Industry Expert Group and Working Group inputs - List of companies provided by Enterprise Europe Network As the project aimed to cover EU28 countries, the following table and picture show how different countries have been covered by partners of the consortium (P - green), working group engaged (WG-yellow) or partners of the consortium covering these countries (PC - blue). Countries that have been taken into account and the planned division of the partners that should contact it. It’s important to note than the partners not always contacted the assigned countries, but also organisations from their networks based in different countries. Bio-based stakeholders completed and classified list Deliverable Title Page 6 of 84 Main areas of specialisation which were taken into account to identify the companies were: Agriculture Fishery Beverages Food products Bioenergy Forest-based industry Biofuels Forestry Biorefinery Heat (biogas and solid biomass) Biotechnology Maritime Chemical Paper and paper products Construction materials Pharmaceuticals Cosmetics Plastics Feed Textile and textile products Fertilisers Tobacco products As for fields, priority areas for improving European industrial competitiveness in the bio- based sector have been considered as well, as the breakthrough technologies will be the ones where a skill mismatch is more likely to occur. These are the called Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), a group of six technologies: industrial biotechnology, nanotechnology, advanced materials, micro and nanoelectronics, photonics, and advanced manufacturing technologies. They have applications in multiple industries and help tackle societal challenges. Countries and regions that fully exploit KETs will be at the forefront of creating advanced and sustainable economies.     PROJECT CAPABILITIES BOILER CONVERSION TO BIOMASS BURNING Scope of Service Boiler owner/operators in recent years have been motivated to convert existing fossil fuel-fired boilers to burn some, or exclusively biomass fuels. Biomass fuels often provide lower fuel costs and lower flue gas emissions as well as being considered a “green” renewable resource. Whether the boiler currently burns exclusively fossil fuels or burns a combination of fossil and biomass fuels, JANSEN has the experience and capabilities to provide the necessary services to enhance biomass firing in most all boiler configurations. A recommended phased approach to fuel conversion projects is listed below: Initial assessment of feasibility and required modifications to generate early budgetary costs. Engineering evaluation of existing boiler to determine the unit’s capabilities when operating with the new fuel (pressure parts, auxiliary and air pollution control equipment). Definition engineering to develop +/- 10% accuracy cost estimate. Engineering design, fabrication, and materials supply. Installation. Operator training and start-up assistance. JANSEN has the capability and experience to carry out any or all of these steps. Hermed var den projekterede bane. Fjerritslev Nørresundby Frederiks havn delvis åbnet. Den resterende strækning Nørresundby Sæby Frederikshavn blev først åbnet for drift den 18. juli 1899. Den ny banestrækning blev modtaget med stor begejstring af publikum, som herved så en længe næret drøm opfyldt. I åbningshøjtideligheden deltog ministre, amtmænd, borgmestre og mange kendte mænd fra by og land. Et hidtil øde og trafikforsømt hjørne af landet lå åbent til at påbegynde en rivende udvikling, hvis betydning nutidens mennesker, der er for vænt med trafikale goder, kun vanskeligt fatter. Det kan derfor være nyttigt at se på forudsætningerne, der førte til arbejdet for at få denne banestrækning anlagt. I umindelige tider havde man kun kendt dårlige veje, og så sent som fem år før banens åbning klagede en indsender til et Aalborgblad over den slette tilstand, som vejen op til Hanherred befandt sig i, om end det havde hjulpet, at der var lagt lyng over de værste huller. Kun en lille menneskealder før oplevede man, at mennesker kunne drukne på landevejen, når de til hest færdedes i Østvendsyssel på de veje, der fra Nørresundby over Hammer Bakker førte til Sæby. Det skete, at vejene oversvømmedes, og broerne blev revet bort, således at de blev direkte livsfarlige. På de længere strækninger, f. eks. fra Nørresundby til Fjerritslev og Thisted, besørgedes post og passagerer i postdiligencen. Endnu mindes Post Søren, der kørte diligencen over Øster Svendstrup til Fjerritslev og videre til Thisted.

    November 4, 2014 Catalyst Paper Q3 results impacted by total mill outage at Powell River mill Richmond, (BC) – Catalyst Paper (TSX:CYT) recorded adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the third quarter of $8.0 million compared to $7.1 million in the previous quarter. Adjusted EBITDA for the year to date was $40.8 million compared to $27.0 million for the corresponding period last year. Operating results reflect the production and manufacturing cost impact of a total mill outage at the Powell River mill and annual boiler shuts at the Powell River and Port Alberni mills, and lower specialty paper pricing and paper sales volumes due to weakening North American paper demand. This was partly offset by record-setting pulp production in the quarter and significantly reduced pulp manufacturing costs. The company recorded a net loss of $22.5 million ($1.55 per common share) and a net loss before specific items of $10.8 million ($0.74 per common share) compared to $6.3 million ($0.43 per common share) and $13.6 million ($0.94 per common share), respectively, in the prior quarter. Net earnings this quarter were negatively impacted by a settlement loss on a multi-employer pension plan carried over from the discontinued Snowflake mill of $1.2 million and a foreign exchange loss on the translation of US dollar denominated debt of $12.6 million. Free cash flow for the quarter was negative $8.0 million and liquidity decreased $12.8 million from the prior quarter mostly due to the payment of annual property taxes and insurance premiums.
