The Environmental Information Center has the following functions, amongst others:

 80 kilometers mountain range.

 Highest peak Megali Tourla rises to 1,935m.

 It combines important ecosystems with unique flora, fauna and avifauna.

 "Biodiversity" is a term that we use in order to highlight the richness of the natural world.

 "Endemic species" when we say that a plant or animal species is endemic to a region, we mean that it exists only in this region and nowhere else.
