Property Found in a highly sought after South Canterbury location is this detached individually designed three/four bedroom family home. Nestled behind a high brick wall, the property provides off street parking for three cars and has a large detached garage.

Inside there are many attractive and appealing features. The open-plan dining room and sitting room is light and bright with the sitting area having a vaulted glass ceiling. There is also a formal lounge, study/bedroom, kitchen/breakfast room, utility room and cloakroom to the ground floor. To the first floor there are three bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. The enclosed rear garden has a paved patio area and is laid mostly to lawn.

Kent and Canterbury hospital, Kent County Club and a number of highly regarded schools including Simon Langton Grammar School are found close by. Canterbury City Centre is within easy access where you will find a wide variety of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Canterbury also offers two universities and a number of private schools. Canterbury West Station operates a high speed train service to London St Pancras.

Our Time Here It was the location that drew me here first, having easy access to Canterbury and stations. I also liked the architecture of the house, which was a new interesting design, and a secluded virgin garden ready to start from scratch. The detached garage and plenty of parking has been very useful. My favourite spot is the sun lounge, which overlooks the garden. I also enjoy spending time in the large but cosy living room with its focal fireplace and a relaxing feel, catching the sun for most of the day. I came from London and found a good local community here. It is a quiet road with friendly, unobtrusive neighbours. The cricket ground generates a good atmosphere but doesn't intrude. It’s just a 10-15 minute walk into Canterbury, with mini markets even closer. There are good, frequent, high speed train services to London and easy access to countryside, seaside and Dover. Canterbury is a small city but a very historical interesting place that constantly surprises me, even after 18 years. The relatively new shopping centre has a good range of shops. Kent is a beautiful county with lovely villages within easy reach; offering great pubs, good food and I have enjoyed a good variety of walks. I will not be moving far. I will miss the garden that is now mature and given me a great deal of pleasure, including some fine summer barbecues.
