STOP PRESS!

The parish council is working with neighbouring South parish councils to lobby West and Chester Council to include our area in their plans for cycle routes and pathways. The volume of traffic in our parish is increasing and air quality is deteriorating, indeed, the levels of pollution along the A41 to the A51 is regularly exceeding the World Health Organisation and UK Government limits. The South Chester Parishes are keen to investigate the feasibility of a footpath/cycleway from Huntington, through Great Boughton as far as High School – giving your children a safer and cleaner route to school and reducing traffic on the roads.

We will keep you informed on the progress we make but if you have any comments or would like to be involved, please let us know!
