Our mission is to love God, to love one another, and to love our community as committed followers of Jesus Christ.

This summer at , two message series will make up our summer study together. We will hear the voices of minor prophets, reminding us that God is faithful even when we are unfaithful to Him and He calls us continually to “return” to find His grace and mercy. Once we come back Him, we can then hear the voice of Jesus in John 15, calling us to “remain,” to abide in Him as branches of the vine, bearing fruit as we grow in Him. From the prophets who declare that there is “no fruit on the vines” when we are out of fellowship with God, to Jesus who declares that we will bear the fruit of the vine as we abide in Him, let us all, as God’s people, learn to “Return and Remain.”

Bro. Joe Bro. Senior Adult Ministry

Two Sundays ago—May 13—our Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Napp Granade, preached his last sermon at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, where he’s been the interim for 11 1/2 years (some interim!) It was also his last sermon as an active preacher. After 67 years of ministry in Japan, Kentucky, Illinois, and Georgia, Bro. Napp announced his retirement from preaching. Oh, he’ll always be our friend and our Pastor Emeritus, but now the days ahead will see more visits to his large, extended family. Children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and many, many friends. Over the years, Bro. Napp has shown us in so many ways what it means to be a servant of the Lord. He has prayed with us, visited our sick beds, married our children and grandchildren, and brought to us peace and reassurance when we’ve lost a loved one. Now its our turn to pray for him, love him, hug him, and say to him, “You have done well, our good and faithful servant.” Rev Napp N. Granade, 207 Saint Raymond Place, Kathleen, GA 31047-2125. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Converge Summer Youth Camp 2018 SOME KEENAGER NOTES June 4-8 | Coker Creek, Tennessee Dorothy Perry has posted many first-class photos of our amazing Western-themed Keenager Banquet.
