November 3rd to December 4th Official Opening: Friday, November 3rd at 6pm. As It Is – From Di Food and drinks supplied. All welcome. Is Dubbo a centre of regional significance? It is obvious, even to the casual observer, that in 2017 Dubbo is a vibrant city, providing residents and visitors alike with much more than basic facilities and services. Many of us will have met up with folk who visited or lived in this area years ago, and return now to a totally different scene. Comments from these people are always positive and enthusiastic, reflecting acknowledgement of progress and excitement for future developments. Sporting tracks and arenas, increased developments in tourism, the WPCC and DRTCC, expanded air services and more educational options are part of how Dubbo is dealing with the present, and preparing for the future. We all need to focus on work, and then look to leisure to provide enjoyment, social bonds and a healthy community network.
