Monday, February 15 – Friday, February 26: BLACK HISTORY SPIRIT WEEKS
• Tuesday, February 16 & Wednesday, February 17 -- Because of Them, We Can – Scholars are encouraged to dress up like their favorite African American hero, sports figure, or idol. • Thursday, February 18 & Friday, February 19: HBCU Day – Scholars are encouraged to rep Historically Black College and University gear or other college gear. • Monday, February 22 & Tuesday, February 23: Black is Beautiful – Scholars are encouraged to wear all black. • Wednesday, February 24 & Thursday, February 25: Rep Your Roots – Scholars are encouraged to wear anything to represent their roots (e.g. dashiki, head wraps, red, green, & yellow, positive slogans promoting black heritage, etc.) • Friday, February 26: Black Excellence – Scholars are encouraged to ‘Dress to Impress’ in their finest wear.
