On Tuesday, April 18, we hosted Naz Aydemir at the school who is setter in the Turkish National Female Volleyball Team. Primary and Middle School students watched the activity at the İbrahim Betil Auditorium. Naz Aydemir talked about her sports career, volleyball and her new book.
PE Department organized various entertaining activities and games at lunch break for April 23 Children’s Day between April 24 and 28.

Little Basketball Team played against Teşvikiye Academy sport club in the development league. The team played well in the match but they could not defeat their rival.

ENKA Schools Little Boys Soccer team participated in Sarıyer district soccer tournament. They played their first mathc against Hacı Kemal Öğüt Middle School on Friday, April 22. We won the match 5-1 at Sarıyer Field. We advanced to the next level. We also won the second match against Zübeyde Hanım middle School 4-1 on Friday, April 28.
CHESS
We participated in the Chess Tournament which was organized in Celalettin Buluğ Middle School on April 8 and 9. The team came first in their group and advanced to the İstanbul Finals between April 29 and 30. You may see the list of students who represented our school below.

On April 19, Star Team came second in the district. At the individual category, Deniz Alkan came third in the district out of 46 students. Between May 2 and 4, high school girls team will play matches at sports festival in our school. In May, traditional volleyball youth cup will be organized for high school classes.

Prep student Şevval Köseoğlu attended ISF International Swimming Championship for High Schools between April 20 and 25 in Budapest, Hundary. 281 students from 17 countries took part in the competition. She became World Champion in 100m Freestyle and 4x100m Mixed Relay categories both individually and in her team. She was one of the youngest athletes in the championship. We congratulate her and wish her every success.
On Friday 28, her first day in the school after the competition, we went to her class to make a surprise. We would like to thank administrators, teachers, and students for being with us on that meaningful day. On Friday Ceremony, we celebrated Şevval’s achievement again together with her trainer Orhan Mengi. We are proud of her and her important achievement. .
