Government Defeat in Lords on Overseas Operations (Service Personnel and Veterans) Bill Tuesday 13/04/2021

On 13/04/2021 the government had a defeat in the on an amendment to the Overseas Operations (Service Personnel and Veterans) Bill: To insert a clause excluding actions regarding overseas operations brought against the Crown by serving or former personnel from restrictions in the bill on the courts’ discretion to disapply or extend time limits for actions.
