The highest climbing wall of France The 21st August in Mulhouse, the biggest climbing wall of France, the Climbing Mulhouse Center (CMC), opened its doors. It surpassed the Azium wall in Lyon which reached 22 meters high, because this one is 25 meters high and has 240 climbing ways which can welcome 60 climbers. The building was designed by the architect Pierre Lynde on the site of the old DMC laundry. It has a wall for speed climbing going to 15 meters high. 15 000 holds on the walls and blocks on 2000m² plus a terrace, a store, a bar and a restaurant. The site welcomes climbers of all ages, beginners or veteran, to climb at 20 rue des Brodeuses, (opened Monday to Friday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, to 9:00 pm on Saturday and 7:00 pm on Sunday).
