TANG DA WU Born 1943,

ARTIST STATEMENT

Tang is possibly one of Singapore’s most eminent contemporary artists. His work constantly raises social awareness of issues of identity and social history in Singapore and the region. Outspoken and unorthodox in his methodology, the path of his work has been crucial to the way visual art has developed in Singapore.
