Community Space

A community space is proposed at the corner between Holmesdale Road and the pedestrian underpass. Based on conversations with the council, as well as yourselves we have identified the following possible uses for the space:

Height and Scale

—— Biggest reduction in size through the design change —— Courtyard open to the south for better daylight —— Large play area at the southern end of the courtyard, where it receives the most sunlight

Wisbeach Road Wisbeach Social Space / Emergency Emergency Access Vehicle Access

New Bins In our conversations during consultation events, you expressed some concern around emergency access routes to the blocks. We have taken this on board and made the following change:

—— Paved area introduced, where emergency vehicles can access and turn, —— No need to reverse along a convoluted route —— When not in use, this area can act as a social space for the homes around it
