Took four student journalists to 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The students wrote and edited for rio2016.com. They also reported 38 stories published in American newspapers such as the Chicago Tribune, Dayton Daily News, Chronicle, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Providence Journal and San Antonio Express-News.

Assisted Muhammed Ali, a journalism scholar from Pakistan visiting UT in 2014-15 through the South Asia Institute, in building a course for his institution, Fatima Jinnah Women’s University in Rawalpindi, though weekly meetings and through hosting Professor Ali in my class. Professor Ali designed his course around J326F, my Reporting Sports course.
