[email protected] THREE-DIMENSIONAL BALLISTOCARDIOGRAPHY IN MICROGRAVITY AT 20 YEARS INTERVAL: A LONGITUDINAL CASE REPORT AND VALIDATION OF THE ESA-B3D PROJECT. Abstract Three-dimensional Ballistocardiography (3D-BCG) is a wearable non-invasive cardiac performance monitoring technique that is at a current regain of interest. It is based on the measure of 3D-accelerations of the human body that result from the cardiac contraction, ejection and motion of blood into the large arteries. The ESA three-dimensional ballistocardiography in microgravity (B3D) project aims at measuring 3D-BCG on astronauts taking part to long duration missions to the ISS.
