This game is accompanied by a friendly match in Kansas against Mexico as Paraguay look ahead to the Copa America in June. A team vastly different from Victor Geneza's call-ups last year against Peru, Diaz reminded the players and put his faith in foreign stars over domestic players. He even nationalized a new striker - Raul Bobadilla from Augsburg - to confirm that the revolution is here. Or not? Ramon Diaz speaks with all-time topscorer - Photo: APF The average age of the team is 27.5 years, which in theory sounds like it is made up of players at their peak, but there are seven players aged 30 and over who, with the exception of , were written off at the last America's Cup. Reviews by , and Marcos Caceres indicate that Diaz is not convinced of the new crop of players, and he feels that he has a very small personnel reserve for the job. There is another theory that the appeals of these veterans more to guide the younger generation - exciting players such as Gustavo Gomez, Jorge Rojas and Oscar Romero are all in the team and they will benefit from senior hands. Also, it could be a horse for courses with 7 Mexican players called, perhaps for their insider knowledge of El Tri. Mexican connection, Mexican players of Paraguay. Photo: APF Friendly matches are challenging in themselves, Albirroja has yet to beat World Cup quarter-finalists Costa Rica in San Jose in four attempts, with one draw and three defeats in their previous encounters. Just last year they fell 2-1 to Ticos with central defender Gustavo Gomez grabbing the only goal. Their record against Mexico is not great on U.S. soil, they have played four times and won only once in Chicago in 1999, since a draw and two consecutive defeats. Their last win over Mexico was a friendly match in Mexico City in 2007 through the Oscar Cardoso strike, but later that same year in the America's Cup they they they beaten 6-0 and in their last game in 2011 they lost 3-1. It's a difficult start for Ramon Diaz, but the selection of the squad suggests he's looking for results, not the blood of youth. Full SQUAD Victor Gens has named his 23-man squad for the 2015 Sudamericano in , which starts next week. Genes guided the previous group of players to second place in 2013 and to the World Cup. This year is not only a place at the 2015 World Cup up for grabs, but a place at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Here we look at six key players who will be crucial to Albirrojita's chances, they start on January 14 against Bolivia, a full list of fixtures at the bottom of the post. DEFENCE Ivan Cagniet Club: Atletico Madrid D.o.B: 22 April 1995 Birthplace: Luke Height: 185 cm Weight: 78 kg Position: Central defender moved to Spain at the age of 12 and was at Rayo Vallecano at U-14 level and first half of the U-15 season before moving to Colchoneros. He describes himself as good on the ball and an excellent communicator, so he'll be expected to organise the defence and try to bring some stability while under pressure. Having been studying with Miranda and Godin over the past few years he has to be one of the most experienced defenders on the show in Uruguay. MIDFIELD Jesus Medina Club: Libertad D.o.B: 30 April 1997 Birthplace: Limpio Height: 179 cm Weight: 67 kg Position: Attacking 17-year-old was fast tracked in U20s due to his immense talent, The midfielder made his debut for Primer in 2012 at the age of just 15, and his performances during U17s Sudamericano in 2013 even saw him linked with a move to PSV Eindhoven. He's great on the ball, quick feet and a big left foot that can create and score goals. It is likely to be used as a strike submarine, but expect that impact will be felt. Jerem'as Bogado Club: Olimpia D.o.B: 04 July 1995 Birthplace: Limpio Height: 172 cm Weight: 66 kg Position: Attacking midfielder Bogado broke into the senior side during the 2014 Apertura debut in March, but he really came out at first sight during Clausura to make 14 appearances and scored his first senior goal against 3 de Jong. He makes good runs in the field and will be looking to support his strikers at every opportunity. Danilo Santacruz Club: Libertad D.o.B: 12 June 1995 Birthplace: Kaaguaze Height: 178 cm Weight: 75 kg Position: Attacking midfielder Another product of the youth system Libertad he made his presence felt at a high level already including match winning performance against 12 de Octubre in Clausura. He can run on players and get into the box and is likely to be one of the key scoring threats alongside Diaz and Sanabria (see below) ATTACK Tonny Sanabria Club: Roma, Italy D.o.B: 04 March 1996 Birthplace: San Lorenzo Height: 180 cm Weight: 72 kg The former Man La Masia striker has had a stellar rise through Paraguay's ranks, in 2013 he played U17s Sudamericano, the U20s World Cup in the same year and weeks after that made his senior debut against Germany in Kaiserslautern. He has not yet got much playing time for the Roma senior side but is often in the match squad. Such experience should match him at this level and expect him to be one of the stars of the tournament. Sergio Diaz Club: Cerro Porteno D.o.B: 05 March 1998 Birthplace: Itaugu' Height: 172 cm Weight: 66 kg Position: Forward diminutive striker is the youngest member of the team but has more senior experience than most of them played most of Clausura in 2014. He managed eight goals in the league as he formed a partnership with European champion and Pichichi winner Dani Guiza. Diaz's low centre of gravity and weaving passes in and around the box drew comparisons to Aguero of Manchester City. Expect good things from one of the most exciting players to come out of Paraguay in the last decade. FIXTURE LIST 14 JAN vs Bolivia 16 JAN vs 20 JAN vs Ecuador 22 JAN against Peru If Paraguay finish in the top three of this group (they are expected to) they will play the hexagonal final from January 26 to February 7 with Top 4 qualification for the 2015 U20s World Cup, the winner is also eligible for the and the runner-up has a playoff at the Summer Games. Goalkeepers: Jose Coleman (3 de Febrero), Miguel Mereles (Libertad), Tomas Echague (Sportivo Luceno). Defenders: Ariel Benitez (Guarani), Ivan Cagnete (Atletico Madrid, Spain), Marcos Gonzalez (Olympia), Omar Alderete (Cerro Porteno), Jose Sanabria (Libertad), Juan Escobar (Sportivo Luceno) and Sael Salcedo (Olympia). : Gustavo Viera (Corinthians, Brazil), Jesus Medina (Libertad), Jeremias Bogado (Olympia), Roque Guacire (Liberda), Walter Araujo (Salt de America), Angel Benitez (Liberdad), Enrique Araujo (National) Forwards: Toni Sanabria (Roma) Italy), Luis Amarilla (Libertad), Brahiian Ayala (Rubio Ju), Sergio Diaz (Cerro Porteno) and Walter Gonzalez (Olympia). Ralph Hanna New Year marks the start of a new season in Paraguay and a brutal pre-season. The searing heat of January is the reason for most Paraguayans to migrate to the beaches of Brazil or Uruguay, but spare a thought for their footballers who will be shaking off a festive excess temperature of about 40c. For three of the 12 clubs, Libertada, Guarani and Cerro Porteno, the is set to provide a major distraction, but for Olympia, Nacional and the revamped Sportivo Luteno are their sights set to be at Apert. Below is a club-by-club guide from the main contenders so you know what to expect more or less in the next 6 months. All of this starts on January 31 (or maybe it's Paraguay). (i) 2014 Apertura: 1st 2014 Clausura: 1st won his first two full tournaments as coach bringing Libertad his first bi-campeonato since 2008. While he was brought to the role under Ramon Diaz and Albirroja the former river man surrounded himself argentines and as such Sarabia will continue this year. The main target, of course, is Libertadores, but they have a strong squad and with the inclusion of two defenders Saldivar and Vergara they will have strength in depth in defence. Jorge Gonzalez stayed and they retained the services of both goalkeepers. Oscar Ruiz, who has had a great campaign with Capiat, is back at the club and will add more creativity forward. One to watch: Oscar Ruiz - it's a great year for the 23-year-old to really prove if he has what he takes, dangerous from the dead ball and a big shot from afar he's fun to watch Predicition: Title contenders, but with Libertadores they won't have enough to win his Club Guarana 2014 Apertura: 2nd 2014 Clausura: Third Remarkable Calendar Year, and if Libert wasn't so strong They may have chosen the tournament. They were helped by a record 36 goals from Fernando Fernandez, who contributed a record 105 goals to the team during 2014. With Fernandez's exploits likely to see him move abroad they have already brought back Julian Benitez and included Roberto Gamarra to make sure the goals don't run out. Capiata goalkeeper Antonio Franco is set to join while Marcelo Palau must stay - he is a key man in midfield. Alberto Contrera, Arturo Aquino, Ruben Maldonado are the other major signings for 2015. One to watch: Left winger Ivan Gonzalez Ferreira's younger brother Julio Gonzalez (ex-Player Of Vice who lost an arm in a car accident) is extremely talented and has had spells in Germany, Switzerland and Brazil. It blows hot and cold, but no matter is a constant danger to opposing teams. Prediction: Top 6, but Libertadores is the No.1 club priority Cerro Porteno 2014 Apertura: 4th 2014 Clausura: 2nd Leo Astrada is known to play for the Copa Libertadores and do not expect much from them domestically as azulgrana continue their quest for this elusive international tournament. left the club just two goals short of becoming a record topscorer (out of midfield), while fellow veteran decided it was time to finally move on to Oscar Romero, certainly head though he appeared at the pre-season. Some good signings have been made though, with young striker Cecilio Dominguez getting his first shot at a big club and fast left-arm player Blas joining the ranks, both players are now sporting what can only be described as Fellaini. Right-back Angel Martinez comes from Capiat and David Mendieta has returned from the Jaguares in Mexico to bolster the midfield. One to watch: Sergio Diaz too young to move abroad So the 16-year-old is set to wow us all for another season, expect even more goals from him this year he is a serious talent prediction: the 5th or 6th Olympia Club 2014 Apertura: 3rd 2014 Clausura: 6th Decent start to the year and promotion of some interesting young people and the signing of Christian Ovelar many believe - including me - Klausur Will Be Olympia but being top after nine games they disappeared. Pumpido will continue in 2015 and the new president Trovato has given him a lot of support in the transfer market with the signing of ex-Arsenal goalkeeper Christian Campestrini and Claudio David Vargas from reigning champions Libertade. The inclusion of the former, however, caused a gap with only one space for another foreign player and Pumpido is said to prefer Miguel Amado to Juan Manuel Salguiero and the ex-San Lorenzo playmaker not to turn up for the pre-season. Other key signings are Ivan Torres (ex-Cerro), Fredi Bareiro, Jorge Salinas and , who returns to the club. One to watch: Although Salinas has a European experience more exciting player is teenager Carlos Guerrenio, who must return from injury in time to terrorise full-back again Forecast: Top 3 2014 Apertura: 7th 2014 Clausura: 5th Last year was arguably the biggest in the club's history, they may have knocked around the middle of the table, but they were the finalists of the Copa Delaud given the size of the club. Without such distractions this year they are solid candidates for Apertura with Morinigo still at the helm. He brought in Dionicio Perez from Liberta, who embraced Julian Benitez (now Libertad) and in midfield the departure of Torales to Mexico was filled with the arrival of Joel Lesme from the 12 de Octubre while left 19-year-old Hector Bustamante came from 3 de Fevrero. Other signings included Roque Cardoso, Arnaldo Castorino, Jose Montiel and Milton Benitez. One to watch: If he stays Marcos Riveros, the main man in the centre of midfield, Otherwise goalkeeper Ignacio Don with clean sheets is so important for Morinigo and this is the national team prediction: 1st or 2nd - they have a habit of winning while other big clubs focus on Libertadores Sportivo Luke 2014 Apertura: 8th 2014 Clausura: 4th Brilliant 2nd half of the year saw Kure (Pigs) fly up the savings table and into the 2015 Cup Draw. Pablo Caballero will certainly look to find his best team for this competition during Apertura, but he will be wary of keeping the 2014 Clausura momentum going. Ex-Olympia Esteban Ramirez was a marquee signing for Luke, but they also snaffled Diego Centurion, who played some of his best football under Caballero in Guarana. The other two are major signings Jorge Ortega and Marcelo Baez. One to watch: Luis Mignot is a very talented midfielder and impressed last year by pulling the strings in the average forecast: Knocking around 4th again Sol de America 2014 Apertura: 5th 2014 Clausura: 9th Poor Clausura campaign left Sol hanging just above relegation so the board of directors gave Mario Jacquet everything he asked for in terms of new players. Juan Pablo Raponi is about to add creativity and is just one of several eye-catching attacking signings including Hugo Lucardi and Nelson Romero. Jose Domingo Salcedo adds experience and will look to guide young talent like Teodoro Paredes to the central defender, who shone at the U20s but couldn't break into Cerro's first team. Other signings include Arnaldo Pereira, Arnaldo Recalde, Cesar Coronel and Christian Martinez. The icing on the cake will be , who is trying to arrange a move from Banfield to join his brother. One to watch: Lorenzo Frutos is a fast winger who has been unsettled due to injuries, if he gets to work with new support cast Raponi, Lusardi et al, he will be a serious threat Prediction: Middle table Best of the rest of Deportivo Capiat and General Diaz will look to maintain his solid form to allow Clausura without the threat of relegation, except for any serious surprises as well and probably occupy the middle of the table again. Rubio is in big trouble, and if any of the newly promoted sides work well they could return to Intermedia after winning promotion in 2008. Deportivo Santane and Sportivo San Lorenzo are new additions to Primera - Santana is located about 150 km from Asuncion and is in the upper tier for the first time. San Lorenzo, like Capiato, is a densely populated suburban city, so will have good support during home games. Their prize signing is definitely Mathias Perez' 20-year-old central defender, who joins from Sporting Lisbon. Ralph Hanna Cerro Porteno vs. Sportivo Luceno La Okla, Asuncion 20/09/2014; 17:10 (22:10 BST) TV: Tigo Sport (Paraguay) Leo Astrada returns to La Osla having to coach three consecutive away games with Cerro Porteno in his second spell at club Barrio Obero. They face the side of Sportivo Luceno, who continues to do well under Daniel Navarro after the resignation of Eduardo Actually auriazul head in this collision collision only one defeat in 14 (Guarani leaders) and ahead of Cerro in the table. Photo: Club Sportivo Luceno - prensa Although Arce does not want to rest players in the league, Leo Astrada has a history in favor of continental tournaments on the domestic so that some first-teamers players will step aside today. Young Bruno Valdez will play alongside Mareco at centre-back while Oviero and Oscar Romero are set to watch from the bench. Ivan Torres and Sergio Diaz are likely starters. Veteran Brazilian Rodrigo Teixeira and Argentina's Guido Di Vanni are likely to play forward, filling Luke's foreigners quota. Navarro usually plays with three forwards, so either Derlis Alegre or Marcelo Ferreira will fill the remaining place. Midfielder Luis Mignot has been making the side tick so far, the 25-year-old has a good passing range and is dangerous from afar. Christian Aguad is a left-sided player interested to watch the 21-year-old full back he likes to come forward and scored an equaliser off the bench against Olympia earlier in the season - can he do the same today? Prediction: 2-1 Best bet: More than 2.5 goals Cerro Portegno XI (probable): Diego Barreto; , Bruno Valdez, Victor Hugo Mareco, Junior Alonso; Mauricio Speduti, Miguel Paniagua, Julio Dos Santos, Ivan Torres; Jose Origosa, Sergio Diaz Luceno XI (probably): Rodolfo Rodriguez; Mario Saldavar, Carlos Roron, Jose Leguizamon, Sergio Vergara; Miguel Godoy, Luis Mignot, Lorenzo del Valle; Derlis Alegre, Rodrigo Teixeira, Guido di Vanni. Ralph Hanna Paraguay - United Arab Emirates Stadium Villach Lind, Klagenfurt, Austria 07/09/2014; 12:30 (18:30 CET) TV: Telefuturo (Paraguay) Paraguay play its fourth friendly match of the year in the Austrian city of Villa, where they host the United Arab Emirates. It is their first game against AFC opposition since 2010, when they beat Hong Kong 7-0, the day Roque Santa Cruz scored twice and the Malaga striker is set to win his 100th cap for Albirroja on Sunday. Santa Cruz will become only the 6th player to reach Paraguay's century caps equal to and Roberto Acuna, and he is only three behind goalkeeper Justo Villar. Defenders (110) and Paulo da Silva (116) are in 2nd and 1st place respectively. Training in Austria - Photo: Seleccion Paraguay This is Paraguay's first game against the UAE, currently ranked 65th in the world (one place above Ireland) and coached by Mahdi Ali, who won the Gulf Cup last year as they beat Iraq in the final in extra time. They sound like a pretty tough opposition now on the run of their lives, as Wael Jabir tells me on Twitter They went unbeaten for 20 games from 2012 - 2014 with a peak of FIFA rankings of 58 in February, and there's no doubt who star player Omar Abdulrahman... search for his name on YouTube, says Almhairi (s right) made) @aeody he took on calling him Maestro Omar Abdulrahman such is the obvious talent of the 21-year-old. Of course, the current Paraguayan crop have its share of exciting attacking talents - Roma's Tony Sanabria is being groomed for qualifiers next year and he is likely to be flanked by FC Basel's Derlis Gonzalez and Cerro Porteno's Oscar Romero's fluid trident behind target man Roque. In central defense Pablo Aguilar of Club America looks like a new leader and he may well be handed the armband as soon as Santa Cruz steps aside, he will partner young Gustavo Gomez again with a goal of qualifying after the 2015 Copa America. Victor Gena gave Copa Libertadores winner Nestor Ortigoza a second chance, a big man in midfield needs those around him to do a leg job, but he will certainly find running flying youngsters like Derlis Gonzalez and Sanabria again and again. L-R Derlis Gonzalez and Tony Sanabria - Photo: Seleccion Paraguay Paraguay XI (possibly): Joel Silva; Jorge Moreira, Gustavo Gomez, Pablo Aguilar, Junior Alonso; Victor Caceres, Nestor Origuza; Derlis Gonzalez, Tony Sanabria, Oscar Romero; Roque Santa Cruz Prediction: 2-1 Best Bet: I like BTTS knowing that Paraguay is always good for goal, but the UAE seems to A little flair itself and will look to play offensively against AFC opposition Pld 33 W 11 D 16 L 6 GF 39 GA 23 Paraguay in Austria Pld 3 W 2 D 1 L 0 GF 3 GA 1 Paraguay beat Georgia and Cameroon at neutral venues in 2006 and 2014 and played a goalless draw with Austria in Vienna in 2007. Paraguay last 5 Pld 5 W 1 D 2 L 2 GF 6 GA 7 UAE last 5 Pld 5 W 1 D 3 L 1 GF 6 GA 6 Ralph Hannah Bryan Montenegro only 21, but he has already made the rounds locally, playing for Takouari, Rubio Sau and most recently won the league with Libertade and finishing the Copa Libertadores second place with Nacional. He also had a spell with West Ham a few years ago and although he only played 12 minutes with the senior team in the FA Cup he manages 12 goals in 12 games for the reserves. Full name: Brian Guillermo Montenegro D.o.B: 10 June 1993 Birthplace: Asuncion, Paraguay Height: 1.81 meters Weight: 75 kg Position: Striker/left winger Hardly blessed with pace, but he's at this with excellent movement, a very tactically disciplined player who probably why English clubs have shown more interest than other forwards from the 2013 U20 World Cup squad. His versatility is an asset, he can play from above, usually in two from a more physical striker or he can be used in the front three on the left side and is a goal provider as much as he poacher. He may have been a bit raw at West Ham but now he has played in important matches and scored at the highest level in America, Copa Libertadores. Most recently he scored in the semi-final for Nacional against on their run to the final. Last year for Libertad he also managed two goals during their Sudamericana Cup campaign reaching the semi-finals. However, my favourite goal of Montenegro is its impressive bike kick at the U20s World Cup against Greece - LUFC fans could enjoy more of this before Christmas! Ralph Hanna Paraguay will travel to Europe for a possible friendly match with Ukraine on September 3, followed by the 7th match against the UAE (United Arab Emirates) in Villach, Austria. The game with Ukraine was to take place in Kiev, but due to the problems of the Paraguayan FA the current political crisis venue is expected to be postponed or the game will be cancelled. It seems Paraguay just can't arrange a friendly match (in 2012 they ended up playing Guatemala four times due to the lack of other opponents!). While the team has a very fresh look with a lot of youngsters involved the main talking points of more than three of the more experienced players. Roque Santa Cruz will win his 100th cap against Ukraine and this may be the perfect time to bow out, although he remains one of Paraguay's best strikers in terms of recent international form. Nestor Ortigoza was recalled for the first time since the 2011 Copa America final, which was frozen out by 's successors. Finally, fantastic central defender Pablo Aguilar returned, he was only left out of recent games because of an illogical medical report that claimed his low platelet count was a health risk. Winning the league with Xolos (who were fully aware of his genetic condition) and his subsequent superb start with Club America in Mexico seems to have made the APF medical staff finally recover. In terms of domestic players there are call ups for Joel Silva, who is playing well for table-topping Guarani while Oscar Romero is the shoe's best young player in the country at the moment. Nacional's run in the Copa Libertadores was rewarded by midfielder Silvio Torales and defenders Ramon Coronel and Leonardo Caceres with appeals. Goalkeepers: Joel Silva (Guarane), Anthony Silva (3 de Febrero) Defenders: Pablo Aguilar (America, Mexico), Gustavo Gomez (Lanes, Argentina), Junior Alonso (Cerro Porteno), Jorge Moreira (Liberta), Ramon Coronel (National); Leonardo Caceres (National) Midfielders: Victor Caceres (Flamengo, Brazil), Nestor Ortigosa (San Lorenzo, Argentina), Jorge Rojas (Gymnasium LP, Argentina), Silvio Torales (Nacional), Oscar Romero (Cerro Porteno), David Mendieta (3 de Febrero), Miguel Paniagua (Cerro Porteno) Forwards: Roque Santa Cruz (Malaga) Asuncion 23/08/2014; 18:30 (23:30 BST) TV: Tigo Sport (Paraguay) The biggest game of the season is fledgeling, table-toppers Guarani can be pegged back by their hosts Cerro Porteno one of four strong chasing pack. Cerro back in La Olla after a successful midweek outing at Montevideo in Sudamericana, they have now kept four straight clean sheets as Cheeky Arce's side begin to push for a transfer. Aurinegro, like their rivals, have no problem finding the net, although a repeat of the 5-5 draw in their previous meeting may be too optimistic. Azulgrana cannot afford to rest players as the league is essential for qualifying in 2015, given that Arce will play his strongest team and hopes to welcome back Dani Giza from injury. The main decision is who he plays as his designated U20s player - either junior Alonso or Jose Origues will have to carry away Carlos Montiel or Sergio Diaz respectively, my money at first. One of the key players today will be central defender Danilo Ortiz, who will have to muscle out Federico Santander, not an easy task. Jubero will want his team to attack, this is the afterall of his best form of defence with aforeding Santander forming a great partnership with Fernando Fernandez as the youngster almost seems to steal space to always find himself on the end of a flick or cross. Adilson Lezcano had a strong game at right back last week, his pace could help the side at the break, although he is likely to find himself pegged back by Oscar Romero Cerro. Ivan Gonzalez Ferreira is a fantastic player and will look to cause problems by running in defence, cutting and shooting from distance - he will spike towards Cerro all day, which is for sure. Prediction: 2-1 Best bet: More than 2.5 goals Cerro Portegno XI (probable): Diego Barreto; Carlos Bonet, Bruno Valdez, Danilo Ortiz, Carlos Montiel; Mauricio Sperdudi, Fidencio Ovyedo, Julio Dos Santos, Oscar Romero; Jose Oregano, Dani Giza Guarani XI (probably): Joel Silva; Adilson Lescano, Julio Cesar Caceres, Luis Cabral, Edgar Aranda; Dario Ocampo, Marcelo Palau, Juan Aguilar, Ivan Gonzalez Ferreira; Federico Santander, Fernando Fernandez There is a live market of this game available on Betfair Ralph Hanna a remarkable first week for most Paraguayan sides on their Sudamericana Adventure Cup - three wins only to Libertadee loss, but a 1-0 defeat at 3900 meters above sea level has nothing to panic about. Cerro Porteno put in a good shift to win 2-0 against toothless Rentistas in Montevideo while here in Luke's two debutants, General Diaz and Capiat, both won raising hopes of promotion to the next round. RENTISTAS 0-2 CERRO PORTESO Strong performance from Azulgrana as they kept their 4th consecutive clean sheet while played their part as a quality Oscar Romero was alive to Jose Ortigoza's hooked pass for the opener and a fantastic stoppage-time run and a cut by 36-year-old full back Carlos Bonet gave Julio Dos Santos a chance to convert his 84th goal for the club and seal the win. NACIONAL POTOSI 1-0 LIBERTAD Early freak that decieved Rodrigo Munoz in the air of Potose was enough to hand the Bolivians victory. Pedro Sarabia's team will be confident they can undo the result in the comfort of Asuncion next week, although there is little concern that Gumarelo has only scored one goal in the last 360 minutes. GENERAL DIAZ 2-1 COBRESAL Arguably the toughest opponents of all four sides, so it really was a great win for Aguilas against the Chileans. Blas Caceres had an excellent game setting up the first goal for Argentine Gustavo Toranzo with a big dead delivery of the ball before helping Roberto Gamarra's second to tap in. All to play Atacama next week. CAPIATA 3-1 DANUBIO Like their fellow Rentistas Uruguayans failed to impress and literally handed two penalties to Capiata although the second infringement seemed to be just outside the penalty area. Veteran striker Fabio Escobar had no trouble converting both spot kicks either side of half-time. Blas Irala connected deftly to the corner for the third and a near-perfect outing as Luke was washed away by Danubio's late goal away.
