Africa • Constitutional Court • 3.2 million people • Host of 2010 World Cup Map of Johannesburg Wits – Campus Map Wits Campus Wits Law School Classroom Law Library Law students from the U.S., Southern Africa and Students Australia Faculty from U.S. and South Africa Intense Academic Experience Program • 3 weeks; 5 days a week (May 26 to June 13) • During the first week, all U.S. students will take a one- credit class: Introduction to South African Law, History and Policy • During the second two weeks, students will choose one course from the following: • Cross Cultural Communication • Human Rights in the Marketplace • International Criminal Law 2014 Estimated Program Expenses Tuition $2,775.00 $925/credit Program Fee $ 900.00 Includes all field trips, program meals, airport transportation, course materials, local transfers, medical insurance & orientation Housing $ 1,575.00 3 weeks in B&B (estimate) Meals $ 735.00 $35/day x 21 days TOTAL $ 5,315.00 The program deposit of $250 is due with your application and will be deducted from the total charges. The total does not include airfare. You can budget approximately $2,250 for a roundtrip ticket to Johannesburg, though if you look early, you can find economical fares from $1,500 (or less).
