Athenaeum honors late Westfield historian On Friday, Daniel C. Paquette, Director of the Westfield Athenaeum, enjoyed a visit from the Lamb family by accepting a donation of a school bell which was part of the collection of the late Hugh Lamb Jr., historian and school teacher in the City of Westfield. For many years, Hugh, researched many cemeteries docu- menting Veterans' graves through- out the City. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in the Pacific and European Theaters, and was Past Commander of VFW Post 1847, and Past Commander of American Legion Whip City Memorial Post 454.
