As part of a strategy aimed at promoting cluster internationalisation for the benefit of European SMEs, the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the European Commission (DG GROWTH) supports international cluster cooperation notably through the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, funded under the EU COSME Programme. The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) provides a wide range of information and services to facilitate the interaction between more than 570 clusters not only within Europe but also with third countries. The ECCP facilitates also the organisation of international cluster matchmaking events held in Europe as well as in third countries. The organisation of specific matchmaking events is carried out in support of cluster organisations in their efforts to develop partnerships and business cooperation in European and global markets, for the benefit of their members. These matchmaking events seek to prepare the ground for practical cluster cooperation across borders and to make a more strategic use of transnational cluster cooperation. The organisation of this matchmaking event is facilitated by the ECCP consortium led by inno TSD ()
