    Mímicas de guerra, costumbres de paz. Las prácticas de movilización y apelación antifascistas del Partido Socialista en el interior bonaerense durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Los casos de Baradero y Luján*. Andrés Bisso** Resumen: Este artículo analiza las reacciones que frente a los sucesos de la Segunda Guerra Mundial realizaron los simpatizantes y dirigentes de dos centros socialistas del interior de la provincia de Buenos Aires, los de Baradero y Luján, a través del seguimiento exhaustivo de su prensa partidaria. Asimismo, se investiga el proceso de reactivación que en el marco de ese fenómeno, los redactores y colaboradores de esos diarios hicieron de la apelación antifascista que venía desarrollándose con especial fuerza desde mediados de la década del ´30 y que había sido tomada como una bandera de movilización y promoción de importancia estratégica por parte del Partido Socialista. Este acercamiento propone especificar el carácter que podía alcanzar –en los lugares mencionados- una prédica que –originada en sucesos europeos- fue objeto de diferentes recepciones en la Argentina, y funcionó no sólo como arma de combate ideológico, sino también como eficaz motor de movilización política y marco diseñador de renovadas experiencias de sociabilidad local. Las formas de apropiarse la guerra que tuvieron aquellos militantes socialistas que no participaban directamente del escenario bélico, muestran tanto los particulares valores que los mantenían en el Partido, como la autonomía local que podían –en ocasiones- expresar a través de interpretaciones heterodoxas o no del todo deudoras de las opiniones de la dirigencia central (de la provincia o del país). * La elaboración de este artículo fue posible gracias a un subsidio “Jóvenes Investigadores”, otorgado por la Universidad Nacional de La Plata, para un proyecto de reconocimiento de fuentes documentales existentes en el interior de nuestra provincia.

Carreras Doallo*1 Resumen Jules Charles Thays llegó de Francia a la Argentina y construyó parques y plazas públicas en todo el país, así como jardines de estancias y de residencias. El urbanista también estuvo al frente de la Dirección de Parques y Paseos de Buenos Aires por más de dos décadas (1891- 1913). Además, proyectó la creación del Parque Nacional Iguazú, que se realizó en 1934, meses después que el jardinero mayor de Buenos Aires falleciera. Lo hizo para proteger la selva misionera subtropical, desarrollar la región, desde lo económico y lo socio-cultural, y afianzar la imagen de belleza panorámica. Su proyecto consolidó la soberanía nacional en la zona de frontera; permitió el avance de la energía hidráulica y facilitó el turismo al tiempo que la instalación de un casco urbano poblado con diseño radial. El presente trabajo indaga sobre el modo en que Thays fortaleció una representación de la propia nación mediante la protección del patrimonio natural, en particular a través de las ideas para el Parque Iguazú. Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, Argentina, from 8–11 August, 2017 Puerto Iguazú is located in the heart of the interior Atlantic Forest and is the portal to the Iguazú Falls, one of the world’s Seven Natural Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area surrounding Puerto Iguazú, the province of Misiones and neighboring regions of Paraguay and Brazil offers many scenic attractions and natural areas such as Iguazú National Park, and provides unique opportunities for birdwatching. Over 500 species have been recorded, including many Atlantic Forest endemics like the Blue Manakin (Chiroxiphia caudata), the emblem of our congress. In 2006, the first autochthonous case of human urban visceral leishmaniasis (VL) was recorded in Misiones in the presence of the vector, along with some canine VL cases. After this first case, the vector began to spread primarily in northeast Argentina. Between 2008-2011, three human VL cases were reported in Salta province, but the presence of Lu. lon- gipalpis was not recorded. Captures of Phlebotominae were made in Tartagal, Salta, in 2013, and the presence of Lu. longipalpis was first recorded in northwest Argentina at that time. E. F. André heritage case study Vaiva Deveikiene, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University Abstract. The paper provides a review of the creation of a French landscape architect Édouard André (1840–1911) and his collaborators from André’s Agency, such as his son René André (1867–1942), Jules Buyssens (1872–1958) and others in four manors of the noble family Tyszkiewicz in Lithuania. The French tradition of public and private parks was a good example how to create parks in Lithuanian landscape. E. André was a leading and famous French landscape architect and horticulturist, a theoretician of the art of parks, a writer, and an editor of the late 19th century. André and his collaborators visited Lithuania at the end of 19th century, in 1897–1899. Using the extraordinary qualities of natural landscape, including in the spatial composition natural watercourses and woods, choosing indigenous plants and implementing they own artistic rules to earthwork gardens to create viewpoints, André and his collaborators created unusual compositions that had been widely praised and admired in those days. The sustainability of historical green spaces of Traku Voke and Palanga in urban structure of Vilnius City and Palanga city is analysed in this article. Sustainable development of public greenery should be exposed as an example in Lithuania as well. Keywords: Edouard André, Lithuania, Historical Park, Public Park.
