在全球經濟環境不穩定的前提下，公益金本年度憑藉政府部門、工商機構及市民 的慷慨捐輸，成功突破籌款目標，籌得逾港幣二億九千五百萬元善款。

舉辦定期及恆常籌款活動之餘，公益金本年度得以籌劃多個嶄新項目，吸引全港 各界共襄善舉，實有賴眾多慈善夥伴全力支持方能成功：

延續上年度的佳績，本地三家發鈔銀行 ─ 中國銀行 ( 香港 ) 有限公司、香港上海 滙豐銀行有限公司與渣打銀行 ( 香港 ) 有限公司慷慨捐贈全套相同號碼 ─ 包含 港幣二十元、港幣五十元、港幣一百元、港幣五百元及港幣一千元共五種面額之 新鈔票予公益金，支持「新鈔票公益珍藏套裝」籌款活動。珍藏套裝甫推出即 廣受市民歡迎，一百九十二套珍藏套裝瞬即售罄。公益金再次衷心感謝長久以來 與我們並肩作戰的金融界夥伴。

由公益金及新鴻基地產有限公司合辦的「勇闖 ICC-100 — 新地公益金慈善跑」假 環球貿易廣場舉行，三百名健兒挑戰別開生面的爬樓梯賽事，跨越二千一百二十 級樓梯為「兒童及青年服務」貢獻力量。

「公益金羅吉德木桐堡慈善夜」喜獲香港特別行政區行政長官及法國波爾多一級酒 莊羅吉德木桐堡全力支持，於甫完成修葺的禮賓府宴會廳宴請善長品嚐珍貴佳釀， 同時籌募善款惠澤社群。

香港警務處一向盡心盡力維繫社會和諧安定。去年十一月，警務處與公益金 一連兩晚假黃竹坑香港警察學院舉行「香港警察公益金慈善夜」。在中銀香港 慈善基金全力支持下，該活動旨在加深市民對警隊工作的認識，同時匯集寶貴 資源以提升本地社福服務。

中銀香港慈善基金及海洋公園慷慨支持「海洋公園十月全城哈囉喂慈善夜」， 廣邀善長率先體驗萬聖節的驚嚇氣氛。中銀香港慈善基金更動員旗下近百名義工， 陪同一千名公益金受惠人士參與慈善夜，留下盡興難忘的回憶。

兩名特區行政長官候選人亦在選舉後，分別將剩餘的競選經費捐贈公益金，向有 需要人士伸出援手。 The Community Chest

1 1 Message from Dr Simon Kwok, BBS, JP, Campaign Committee Chairman

Thanks to the generous contributions of Hong Kong’s government departments, corporate citizens and the general public, the Chest managed to raise over HK$295 million during the year – surpassed our fundraising target despite the challenges of the volatile global economy.

In addition to our regular annual and on-going events, the Chest also introduced a number of new programmes designed to enhance donors’ interest and engagement. We could not have achieved this without the support of the Chest’s valued philanthropic partners:

Continuing their roaring success from previous years, Hong Kong’s note-issuing banks – Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited, The Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporate Limited and Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited – each donated new HK$20, HK$50, HK$100, HK$500 and HK$1000 banknotes with matching serial numbers to support the Chest’s "New Banknote Charity Collective Sets" fund-raising campaign. 192 exclusive and highly sought after collectable sets were snatched up by the public with overwhelming response. The Chest remains extremely grateful to the generosity and support of our long-term partners from the financial community.

International Commerce Centre (ICC) played host to the "Race to ICC-100 – SHKP Vertical Run for the Chest", jointly organised by the Chest and Sun Hung Kai Properties. Launching an exciting new challenge in local stair climbing events, the race inspired around 300 runners to climb 2,120 steps for the benefit of Hong Kong’s children and youth.

Held at the newly renovated Government House Ballroom, "The Community Chest Château Mouton Rothschild Evening" enjoyed the full support of the Chief Executive of the HKSAR and Château Mouton Rothschild – treating guests to the classified First Growth from Bordeaux while raising funds for the underprivileged in our community.

Hong Kong Police Force is a staunch protector of harmony and wellbeing in Hong Kong. Last November, Hong Kong’s finest partnered with the Chest to organise two evening charity events at the Hong Kong Police College in Wong Chuk Hang. Fully supported by BOCHK Charitable Foundation, the event strengthened public understanding of police work while convening resources to enhance local social welfare services.

Supported by BOCHK Charitable Foundation and Ocean Park Hong Kong, “Ocean Park Halloween Bash Charity Night” delighted Chest donors with a haunted, fun and hip Halloween treat. BOCHK Charitable Foundation invited 1,000 beneficiaries from the Chest’s member agencies and mobilised nearly 100 volunteers to experience Ocean Park’s themed haunted houses before they were officially opened to the public – creating lasting, meaningful memories for all participants.

Upon completion of Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Election, both candidates donated the remaining funds from their campaign budgets to the Chest in support of Hong Kong’s needy. Campaign Report 2012/2013

2 賀禮捐公益 Celebrations for the Chest

怎樣才能讓特別的日子更具意義？「賀禮捐公益」自二零零一年推出以來，鼓勵善長將生辰、開業、新婚、周年紀念 等喜慶日子收到的賀禮轉為善款捐贈公益金。此善舉不單讓喜慶活動增添難忘意義，亦為二百萬名有需要人士帶來溫 暖，創造雙重喜悅。

How can we make special occasions more meaningful? Since its inception in 2001, "Celebrations for the Chest" has encouraged the public to make a donation to the Chest in lieu of gifts for birthdays, opening of new offices or businesses, weddings, anniversaries, and other special events. These acts of benevolence bring forth a lasting memory at special occasions when donors share their joy and blessings with two million needy in Hong Kong.

3 公益金中銀香港慈善高爾夫球賽 The Community Chest BOCHK Charity Golf Day

公益金中銀香港慈善高爾夫球賽於今年三月十五日假香港哥爾夫球會舉行。接近一百九十位來自工商界的高球健將組 成四十七支隊伍雲集綠茵場上，揮杆一較高下，為公益金資助的「精神病患者及康復者服務」籌集善款。

The Community Chest BOCHK Charity Golf Day was held on 15 March 2013 at The Hong Kong Golf Club. A total of 47 teams formed by nearly 190 keen golfers from the business community pit their skills on the green and ardently raised funds to benefit the "Services for MentallyI ll and Ex-mentally Ill" supported by the Chest.

6 公益金羅吉德木桐堡慈善夜 The Community Chest Château Mouton Rothschild Evening

「公益金羅吉德木桐堡慈善夜」於去年十一月十五日 在甫完成修葺的禮賓府宴會廳舉行。活動喜獲香港 特別行政區行政長官梁振英 GBM, GBS 太平紳士及夫人 ─ 香港公益金會長梁唐青儀女士及近百位善長鼎力支持。

法國波爾多官方一級名酒莊 ─ 羅吉德木桐堡慷慨捐 出多款珍貴佳釀，配以信和集團精心設計的美饌佳餚 酬謝與會善長。加上大亞國際集團有限公司的慷慨 支持和香港蘇富比的全力協助，晚宴成功為提升及 發展本地社福服務累積豐厚資源。

"The Community Chest Château Mouton Rothschild Evening" was held on 15 November 2012 in the newly renovated Ballroom of Government House. The Honourable C Y Leung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; Mrs Regina Leung, President of The Community Chest and nearly 100 social elites graced this prestigious event.

Guests were treated to a premier collection of acclaimed wines specially selected by owners of Château Mouton Rothschild, and paired with the exquisite cuisine sponsored by Sino Group. 8 公益慈善馬拉松 The Community Chest Corporate Challenge Half Marathon

公益慈善馬拉松於今年一月十三日在西貢北潭涌郊野公園舉行，刷新參加人數及善款數字新紀錄。來自四十五間機構 逾二千名跑手無懼冬日寒風，以最佳狀態完成十公里及半馬拉松賽事，為公益金資助的「復康及善導服務」籌得可觀 善款。

The Community Chest Corporate Challenge Half Marathon was held on 13 January 2013, at Sai Kung Pak Tam Chung Country Park. This year, both participation and amount raised hit a record high. Over 2,000 enthusiastic runners from 45 organisations braved the winter draft in the 10Km Run and Half Marathon Race. Their concerted efforts brought in substantial donations to support "Rehabilitation and Aftercare Services" subvented by the Chest.

The Community Chest and Television Broadcasts Limited jointly produced the "Community for the Chest" Television Show, one of the Chest's annual highlights on 19 May 2012 at Tseung Kwan O TVB City. The show appealed for donations from the general public through a dazzling array of performances by Chest's Board and Committee Members, social elites and celebrities, raising a significant amount of donations to support social services provided by the Chest's member social welfare agencies. The "Renowned Chefs for the Chest Charity Dinner" was held at Hang Seng Bank Headquarters Penthouse on 4 May 2012 and raised much-needed funds to enhance the social services supported by the Chest. 16 商業及僱員募捐計劃 Corporate and Employee Contribution Programme

「商業及僱員募捐計劃」是公益金其中一個主要籌款項目。參與機構及僱員可透過簡便的途徑，包括公益綠識日、 公益愛牙日、公益行善「折」食日、股份代號慈善抽籤安排計劃、機構直接捐款、僱員月薪定額捐款，及自行舉辦創 意籌款活動捐助公益金，回饋社會。此項目更設有獎勵計劃，表揚機構對社會的慷慨捐助。

The "Corporate and Employee Contribution Programme" is a major fund-raising effort which provides simple and convenient channels, namely Green Day, Love Teeth Day, Skip Lunch Day, Stock Code Balloting for Charity Scheme, corporate direct donations, monthly payroll contributions and self-initiated fund- raising events for corporations and employees to invest in the community. Contributions of participating corporations are recognised through a joint award scheme.

公益綠識日 The Community Chest Green Day

公益綠識日於去年六月十七日及十八日舉行，鼓勵市民透過乘坐環保公共交通工具、參與節約及回收資源等活動， 響應「實踐綠色生活，由你我做起」的活動主題。公益綠識日獲得超過三百間機構及市民踴躍支持，為公益金資助之 「醫療及保健服務」籌得可觀善款。

凡捐款滿港幣六十五元或以上的善長，均獲贈由港鐵公司贊助及香港著名插畫師 Carrie Chau 設計的紀念套票，於活 動期間連續兩天不限次數免費乘搭港鐵多條路線。

The Community Chest Green Day was held on 17 and 18 June 2012. With the theme "Act Green & Live Green", the event appealed to the community to protect the environment by making use of greener transportation options and taking part in energy saving and recycling of resources. The event received enthusiastic responses from over 300 organisations and the public, raising a significant amount to benefit "Medical and Health Services" supported by the Chest.

Sponsored by MTR Corporation, donors who contributed HK$65 or more were presented with a set of Commemorative Community Chest Green Day Twin Tickets designed by the renowned local illustrator The Community Chest Ms Carrie Chau. 17 公益愛牙日 Love Teeth Day

去年十二月五日，香港公益金、香港牙醫學會及衞生署口腔健康教育組聯合舉辦公益愛牙日，提醒大眾愛護牙齒，同 時亦向受助者送上關懷。凡捐款港幣三十八元或以上的善長，均獲回饋愛牙日禮包一份。活動籌得之善款均全數用於 加強為有需要人士提供的口腔護理服務。

Aimed at promoting public awareness in oral hygiene whilst showing care to those in need, Love Teeth Day, jointly organised by The Community Chest, Hong Kong Dental Association and Oral Health Education Unit of Department of Health, was held on 5 December 2012. Donors who contributed HK$38 or more received a complimentary Love Teeth Day Pack as a token of appreciation. The event raised much-needed funds to enhance "Oral Health Services for the Needy" supported by the Chest.

公益行善「折」食日 Skip Lunch Day

公益行善「折」食日於今年三月二十一日舉行。活動鼓勵各界人士捐出一日午膳費用，為公益金資助之「露宿者、 籠屋及板間房居民服務」籌款。善長凡捐款港幣三十五元或以上，均獲回贈鴻福堂集團贊助的愛心券一張。活動獲得 超過三百間工商機構及政府部門支持，共送出逾五萬三千張愛心券，籌款成績彪炳。

The Community Chest Skip Lunch Day, held on 21 March 2013, encouraged all to donate their lunch fees Campaign Report 2012/2013 on the event day to benefit the "Services for Street Sleepers, Residents in Cage Homes and Cubicles" supported by the Chest. By contributing HK$35 or more, donors were presented with a Skip Lunch Day coupon generously sponsored by Hung Fook Tong Holdings as a token of appreciation. With the active 籌募年報 participation of over 300 organisations and government departments, more than 53,000 coupons were distributed, raising an impressive amount for the Chest.

Dress Casual Day

去年九月二十八日舉行的「公益金便服日」，吸引逾三十九萬名來自接近 一千二百間工商機構、政府部門及學校的熱心人士參與。參加者巧用心思， 穿上各式色彩繽紛的便服，戮力為公益金資助的社會福利服務籌募善款。

適逢便服日二十周年，公益金特別舉辦分別以「二十」及「全城參與」為主 題的 T 恤設計及標語創作比賽，並公開展覽得獎作品，鼓勵市民共襄善舉。

On 28 September 2012, over 390,000 participants from nearly 1,200 companies, organisations, government departments and schools pitched in their support for "Dress Casual Day". Dressed creatively in their favourite attires, the participants helped accumulate much-needed funds for local social welfare services supported by the Chest.

To mark the 20th Anniversary of "Dress Casual Day", the Chest launched a "T-Shirt and Slogan Design Competition" with two major The Community Chest design themes – "20" and "Everyone Pitching In". Winning entries were displayed in an exhibition to appeal for more support for this popular fundraiser. 香港公益金

「公益金賣旗日」不單為有需要人士籌募善款，也為本港有志體驗義務工作的學生提供實習平台。本年度的 「公益金賣旗日」於去年十一月十七日舉行。活動成功招募了近一萬五千名來自逾二百間學校、公益金會員機構及 志願團體的學生和義工，積極進行「街上賣旗」和「金旗籌款」，為公益金匯集滴涓，將寶貴資源注入本地社會福利服務。

Aiming to raise funds for the needy and building an ideal platform for the younger generation to serve the community, the Chest's Flag Day was held on 17 November 2012. Nearly 15,000 students and volunteers from more than 200 schools, Chest's member agencies and other voluntary organisations lent the Chest a helping hand in the "Street Flag Sale" and "Gold Flag Sale". The event helped direct invaluable resources to enhance local social welfare services.

44 環保為公益 Greening for the Chest

「環保為公益」是公益金聯同教育局舉辦、富有教育意義的籌募活動，旨在推動學校及團體透過參與慈善清潔、慈善 遠足、創意環保籌款活動，以及慈善花卉義賣，貢獻力量保護環境，同時為有需要人士送上溫暖。

活動有賴十八區公益少年團委員會及各會員學校校長、老師及家長的鼎力支持，連繫不同世代共建美好環境，發揚 關愛精神。本年度，「環保為公益」籌得的所有善款，將撥捐提供「兒童及青年服務」的公益金會員社會福利機構， 培育社會未來棟樑。

"Greening for the Chest" is an educational fund-raising programme jointly organised by The Community Chest and Education Bureau. Through Cleaning for Charity, Hiking for Charity, Creative Greening for Charity and Charity Plant Sale, schools and organisations have taken part in environment protection, while raising funds to help the local needy.

With tremendous support from CYC District Committees, principals, teachers and parents, the Programme has been well received, successfully bringing people together to help build Hong Kong into a green and caring community. This year, all funds raised through "Greening for the Chest" will be allocated to the Chest's member social welfare agencies which provide "Children and Youth Services", empowering our youth for a better future.

47 香港警察公益金慈善夜 Hong Kong Police Night for the Chest

去年十一月二十三日及二十四日晚，香港警務處再度與 公益金攜手嘉惠社群，假香港警察學院 ( 黃竹坑 ) 舉行 「香港警察公益金慈善夜」。機動部隊、特警隊、 銀樂隊、風笛隊及警犬隊等聯袂呈獻一小時精采匯演， 為慈善夜揭開序幕，令全場觀眾目不暇給。是次善舉獲得 中銀香港慈善基金和各界人士慷慨支持，匯集寶貴資源， 協助本港有需要人士改善生活。

Jointly organised by The Hong Kong Police Force and the Chest, "Hong Kong Police Night for the Chest" was held on 23 and 24 November 2012 at the Hong Kong Police College. Police Tactical Unit, Special Duties Unit, Silver Band and Pipe Band, as well as Police Dog Unit captivated the entire audience with their brilliant performances. With the generous contributions from BOCHK Charitable Foundation and the community, the event successfully channeled invaluable resources to help the needy in Hong Kong.

49 勇闖 ICC-100 ─ 新地公益金慈善跑 Race to ICC-100 – SHKP Vertical Run for the Chest

去年十二月二日，一百零三名健兒及四十八支隊伍，昂首闊步登上位於全港最高建築物 — 環球貿易廣場一百樓之 「天際 100 香港觀景台」，以極速完成「勇闖 ICC-100 — 新地公益金慈善跑」。參賽者勇於接受體能及團體精神的 終極挑戰，為公益金資助的「兒童及青年服務」籌得可觀善款。

"Race to ICC-100 – SHKP Vertical Run for the Chest" was held on 2 December 2012 with 103 runners and 48 teams ran up to the "sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck" on 100th floor of International Commerce Centre (ICC), the tallest building in Hong Kong. The event challenged the contestants' stamina and team spirit while raising a generous amount of funds in support of "Children and Youth Services" subvented by the Chest.

廣受歡迎的公益金大型籌款活動 ─「港島、九龍區百萬行」及「新界區百萬行」分別於今年一月六日及三月三日舉行， 吸引接近三百五十支步行隊伍，聯同個人參加者合共逾二萬四千名市民為慈善踴躍舉步。

兩項活動籌得的善款將悉數撥捐公益金資助的「家庭及兒童福利服務」，透過各類型支援服務，協助有需要家庭建立 成員間互愛互勉的緊密關係，鞏固家庭連繫。

The Community Chest Signature Events "Hong Kong and Kowloon Walk" and "New Territories Walk" were held on 6 January and 3 March 2013 respectively. The Walks drew overwhelming support from the general public. Over 24,000 participants from about 350 walk teams as well as individuals enjoyed the charity walks while pitching in to support the needy.

All funds raised through the charity walks will be allocated to the "Family and Child Welfare Services" supported by the Chest which aims to maintain and strengthen family bonding and assist family members establishing mutual support through a variety of services.
