George’s own enthusiasm and love for St. Andrew made our long months of working together more than an assignment, it became a shared pilgrimage. BEGINNINGS RTE: George, please tell us about your background and how you began this epic project of reconstructing St. Andrew’s journeys. GEORGE: Yes, but before I begin, I have to say that at certain times in my life I’ve been very blind. I can speak about the Taliban, about international pol- icy, about government leaders, but I’m not righteous enough to speak or write about St. Andrew. This is how I feel and I must say so at the beginning.
