THE MUSIC VICTORIA AWARD CEREMONY Melbourne Recital Centre, 18 November 2020 Produced by industry professionals, the event celebrates the best music across 29 categories. An awards night for the industry, combined with a line-up of the hottest Victorian talent. Held on the opening night of Melbourne Music Week on Wednesday 20 November 2020, the event is a major music showcase, which welcomes the Victorian music industry and hundreds of interstate and international delegates. The event will take place in one of Australia’s most acoustically and architecturally renowned theatres – Melbourne Recital Centre, and will run for approximately two hours. Partners will be invited to a one hour pre-awards VIP event. The awards ceremony features a strong live music component with nominated artists performing the best songs of year. Previous performers have included Baker Boy, Courtney Barnett, Tash Sultana, Gareth Liddiard, Marlon Williams, Harvey Sutherland, Briggs, Camp Cope, Sampa the Great and more.
