10 All you need for the garden at Angel Gardens “We were lucky that we could stay open during all three lockdowns,” says Louise Mawditt, owner of Angel Gardens, “so we could deliver compost, plants and seeds to all the people who had been bitten by the gardening bug during the pandemic and couldn’t come to us.” Angel Gardens, at Mill Farm Country Retail, Stanford Bridge, celebrates its third anniversary on 28th May. Louise stocks a huge variety of plants – pond plants and marginals, alpines, the most beautiful hellebores as well as shrubs, climbers and fruit trees. Her two polytunnels are full of bedding plants and vegetable plants which will be available towards the end of this month, and she is also taking orders for hang - ing baskets.
