Cork Constitution U 12’s ‘And the winners are ...... CORK CON!!!!!!!!!’ Winners of At least one trophy headed south that Sunday (sorry Kerry) .. Eric O’Connor Memorial Tournament A big thank-you to all the parents who travelled and gave us some much needed support ... It wasn’t just Kerry Football supporters that were on the road early on the morning of the All Ireland Football Final. The Cork Con under 12’s took a team to RFC to parci- pate in the Eric O’Connor Memorial tournament. 24 teams trav- elled, including teams from Belfast , Limerick, Galway, England and of course , Cork.

Inially, we found ourselves drawn in a tough group with Teren- ure, Marys and Old Belvedere. Con got off to a slow start and lost the first match to Terenure by 3 tries to 1.

However, the lads bounced back straight away with a 2 -1 win against Marys. The final group match was against a big Belve- dere team. Aer Belvedere scored straight from the kick-off, Con rolled up their shelves and produced a near flawless perfor- Squad : mance, winning in the end 5-1.
