Ospiti della serata: ANDREA GROSSI, IN.VERSIONE CLOTINSKY Diodato A tredici anni forma la prima band, a venti vola a Stoccolma dove canta un brano di “Beirut Café 2”, una compilation lounge vendutissima in tutto il mondo. La canzone è “Libiri”, cantata in italiano. Tornato in Italia si laurea in Cinema al DAMS di Roma. Nel 2007 registra un EP autoprodotto che presenta al MEI di Faenza. Nel 2010 incide un singolo dal titolo “Ancora un brivido” che riscuote un discreto successo entrando nella programmazione di alcune piccole radio italiane ed emittenti televisive e che gli permette di conoscere colui che diverrà il produttore artistico del suo primo disco: Daniele Tortora, già collaboratore degli Afterhours, di Roberto Angelini, dei Nidi d'Arac, di Niccolò Fabi e dei Planet Funk. Il frutto di questa collaborazione è “E forse sono pazzo”, uscito ad aprile 2013 (Le Narcisse Records/Goodfellas). Sono molte le interviste ed esibizioni live che Diodato realizza in programmi di qualità come Radio 2 Twilight, Suoni d’Estate su Radio 1, Piazza Verdi su Radio 3, Isoradio, ma anche Music Corner di Repubblica.it con Ernesto Assante. “E forse sono Pazzo” viene recensito ottimamente su diverse testate nazionali come XL di Repubblica, Il Mucchio, Il Messaggero, La Gazzetta dello Sport e decine di pubblicazioni on line. “Ubriaco”, il primo singolo video che accompagna il disco, ottiene passaggi in molte testate radiofoniche su tutto il territorio nazionale. Il video viene anche selezionato da MTV New Generation.

The CD is compiled from at least 3 different performances and while I found the sound to be adequate to mediocre, the quality of their material does seem to shine through. While I wouldn’t put the band in my own personal Top 10 of 1970’s rockers, they are pretty good. I think it is a shame I wasn’t musically aware in the 70’s because I probably would have liked the band. They’ve got a lively and energetic sound tied to that particular era and it does keep the ears engaged, even during the first half of the disc where the quality of the recording isn’t even as good as some bootlegs I’ve listened to over the years. The audio quality is the biggest problem I had with the entire disc. I think if you are going to reissue this type of album, you really need to make the sound more Official Site presentable than what a typical bootlegger could accomplish. You want to check out tracks like “Detroit Girls”, “Any Way That You Want It”, and “Cherry Baby” in particular, but surprisingly at least to me, each song is pretty good. Search Amazon: If you like the 70’s rock era, you probably know of the band. You’ll definitely like this release.

Following the savage slaughter in Aeneid 10, the AND book opens in a mournful mood as the warring parti es revisit yesterday’s killing fi elds to att end to their dead. One casualty in parti cular commands att enti on: Aeneas’ protégé H Pallas, killed and despoiled by Turnus in the previous book. His death plunges his father ENDERSON Evander and his surrogate father Aeneas into heart-rending despair – and helps set up the foundati onal act of sacrifi cial brutality that caps the poem, when Aeneas seeks to avenge Pallas by slaying Turnus in wrathful fury. Turnus’ departure from the living is prefi gured by that of his ally Camilla, a maiden schooled in the marti al arts, who sets the mold for warrior princesses such as Xena and Wonder Woman. In the fi nal third of Aeneid 11, she wreaks havoc not just on the batt lefi eld but on gender stereotypes and the conventi ons of the epic genre, before she too succumbs to a premature death. In the porti ons of the book selected for discussion here, Virgil off ers some of his most emoti ve (and disturbing) meditati ons on the tragic nature of human existence – but also knows how to lighten the mood with a bit of drag.

Att undersöka hur man kan gå till väga för att återskapa en viss ljudbild med egna kompositioner Mikko Josefsson Handledare: Anna Wedin och Åsa Unander-Scharin Luleå Tekniska Universitet Examensarbete 2014 Konstnärlig kandidatexamen, musik Abstrakt Hur svårt kan det vara att återskapa samma ljudbild och känsla som på den skiva som du tycker att låter bäst även om du inte har tillgång till exakt samma utrustning och lokaler? En stor del av varför jag tycker att en skiva är bra är ljudbilden. Det låter kanske banalt men ta till exempel den svenska dödsmetall-scenen i slutet av 80-talet och början 90-talet. Både Entombeds Left Hand Path (1990) och Dismembers Like An Everflowing Stream (1991) har det välkända Sunlight-soundet som är en ljudbild som band i dödsmetall-genren än idag försöker återskapa. Under fem utspridda dagar spelade vi in sex stycken av mina egenkomponerade låtar och genom gedigen efterforskning ville vi försöka återskapa samma känsla och ljudbild som på skivan By The Grace of God av The Hellacopters. Jag lärde mig att utnyttja mitt gehör och allmänna musikkunskaper för att återskapa en annan ljudbild och tycker att slutresultatet blev så bra som det kunde bli med tanke på bristen på information. 2 Förord För det första vill jag tacka musikerna för att de ville ställa upp och spela på detta projekt: - David Ericsson, bas - Anton Gustafsson, gitarr - Erik Björksten, gitarr - Sebastian Jacobson, sång Ett enormt tack till Jonas Mattsson som spelade in och mixade låtarna och fungerade som min hjälpproducent under inspelningsprocessen.
