SCHOOL CLOSURE INFORMATION DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER/DISASTER
The Prescott Unified School District No. 1 calendar includes 180 teaching days between August 5, 2021, and May 26, 2022. In the event of school closure(s) due to severe weather/disaster, the last day of school for students and teachers will be determined as follows or at the administration’s discretion:
No school closure day used between August 5th and May 26, students’ last day will be May 26. Teachers check out on May 26.
One school closure day used between August 5 and May 26, students’ last day will be May 26. Teachers check out on May 26 and school will be held on Friday, April 15.
Two school closure days used between August 5 and May 26, students’ last day will be May 26. Teachers check out on May 26 and school will be held on Friday, April 15 and Monday, April 25.
Three or more school closure days used between August 5 and May 25, alternative days of attendance will be studied. These alternative days could include scheduled school holidays permitted by statute, Saturdays, and/or extending the school year.
