Theft & Response - Theft Burglary We arrested and charged a male for three cycle thefts that occurred in February at a business premises on St Thomas Street. Having viewed CCTV footage of the offences we identified and arrested the suspect shortly afterwards; his home address was also searched for stolen property. The individual was charged with all three cycle thefts and given bail conditions not to be in possession of a pedal cycle in order to reduce the likelihood of re-offending. Response - Burglary We’ve given crime prevention advice to businesses and conducted vacant premises checks to reduce burglaries. Whilst on patrol we were approached by local security staff notifying us of a recent burglary and upon viewing CCTV, PC Noble identified both suspects having stopped and searched them previously. This information was passed on to the Southwark Burglary Squad who arrested one, the other is currently wanted. In a separate incident, Met Police colleagues (assisted by the National Police Air Service and Dog Support Unit) arrived on scene to arrest two suspects for burglary after they were seen climbing a fence into the outdoor area of a licensed premises on St Thomas Street. Both suspects were charged. Actions We will continue to patrol business premises to prevent burglary offences and conduct enquiries where necessary. We’ll also make use of stop and search powers where grounds permit to make the area a hostile environment for criminals.

Anti-social Response Behaviour We organised two operations (14th and 15th March) at , predominantly targeting crime and anti-social behaviour caused by groups of youths on bikes in/around the station. We were assisted by colleagues from revenue enforcement, BTP and the London Bridge and West Safer Neighbourhood Team (Met Police). In total, the operations resulted in: 1 arrest; 1 stop & search; 13 stop & accounts; 16 youths given words of advice.
