Tuition Assistance

Workforce Solutions Texoma operates the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) which may be able to help you pay for tuition, books, and travel for up to two years. Eligible individuals include employees who are laid off or trade affected, displaced homemakers, and income eligible adults and youth. To obtain assistance from Workforce Solutions Texoma, you must complete the prescreening application form and take it to your nearest Workforce Center.

Workforce Solutions Texoma can pay for approved training related expenses including tuition, books, required fees, and more, if you are eligible, and choose to be trained in a locally Targeted Occupation. Targeted Occupations are occupations with sufficient demand to offer a reasonable expectation of employment at a living wage.
