Official Matchday Programme Windsor Football Club Club History How Far?!!

This season we will be travelling 1962 miles for our away league matches. We’ve knocked off 1204 of those so far. That’s around 61% of the total.

We still have our longest trip to go (Lydney Town), and after Longlevens in early December, our longest trip will only be 58 miles and Gloucestershire will be done for another season!

Player Kit Sponsorship Attempted robbery at Hartley Wintney causes extensive structural damage

Hartley Wintney are counting the cost of an attempted robbery and break-in at their Green Lane home on Wednesday night, causing “extensive structural damage” to their clubhouse.

Improving the club’s infrastructure has been an ongoing community project in the quaint village and has been integral in helping the club to back-to-back promotions to the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.

Thankfully, nothing was stolen in the break-in, but damage to the outbuilding and pitch, which was driven across by means of getaway, has set back the efforts of the club’s hard-working volunteers.

The club, who has footage of the incident, tweeted: “Sad to report this morning that our club was the target of a robbery last night. Damage is structural and extensive and they got away with nothing.

“The damage and cost of repair is still being assessed including the pitch they drove across to get away.

“Emotions range from absolutely mad as hell to total heartbreak for all the good & hardworking volunteers who support us and give so much of their time.

“This doesn’t just affect the football at the club but the community we support. The lowlife behind this will be caught.”

NEXT v Flackwell Heath Tuesday 27th November Kick Off 7:45pm Scotty the Stag

Hi Stag Fans!!

Hopefully I might see you around the ground at some point later on this season……Fingers Crossed !!

Did you see that Wayne Rooney is coming out to start the England game off in his suit. What is that all about and they say International Friendlies are still meaningful ??!!? Although it does seem like an unusually good opportunity for the likes of Moss Bros to bank a high profile advertising opportunity. Maybe that’s the point of it ? Since the FA couldn’t sell Wembley they are around £800m short, which will take some making up !!!

I thought about that some more and had a chat with my Dad about it. He says we should get Mark Franks back to kick a game off for Windsor in his suit. Although Dad says that Mark could probably then change out of his suit into his kit and still do a job for Windsor FC now !! That I would like to see for sure…..

Its still FA Vase-tastic after our great win at Chichester City FC. Maybe if Windsor got to the FA Vase Final and filled the place out that would help the FA take another big chunk out of that missing £800m !!

Good luck to Mick and the Boys today. Another shiny pot for the club mantelpiece would be much appreciated, so see what you can do……… SCOTTY’S FAVOURITE ALL TIME FOOTBALLERS
