1. Dancing competition will run under Scottish Official Board (SOBHD) rules. 2. The Northern United States Open Championship is recognized by the SOBHD. 3. The committee reserves the right to combine, cancel or divide events. 4. Competitor’s age on the day of the competition determines the class for competition. 5. Event starting times are approximate and subject to change. 6. Dancers will compete in inverse order of entry. 7. Any dancer causing delay will forfeit entry in that dance. 8. Judges’ decisions are final. 9. No refunds will be given for dancing entries received. 10. Dancers must present SOBHD Dance Card at the beginning of their competitive events and prior to receiv- ing awards. All dancers must include SOBHD Card number on entry form. 11. All entry forms must be postmarked by this date. 13. Complaints must be written, signed and submitted by the end of the competition, accompanied by a $25.00 fee, refundable if sustained. 14. Dance classes will be split at close of entries. 15. It is the responsibility of the competitor to pick up prizes at the competition. All unclaimed prizes will be forfeited after August 1, 2018. 16. A competitor is restricted to a maximum of eight solo dances on any one day. 17. For Pre-Premiers, Saturday and Sunday count as two separate competitions. 18. Championship dancers are asked to notify Dance Chairman 24 hours in advance if they are unable to com- pete.

I recognize that any activity may involve certain dangers, including but not limited to the hazards of the forces of nature, and the actions of other participants and other persons unaffiliated with CAF. I understand that these hazards produce a risk of physical harm or death, as well as a risk of loss or damage to my personal property. I further understand and agree that CAF would not be able to sponsor such Events without some form of agreement providing protection for CAF and its officers, directors, paid staff and volunteer workers.
