I am applying on behalf of my clients Mr. Gray and Ms. Burgess for householder planning permission to extend the property mentioned above.

Description of proposal: Consent is being sought to extend the existing dwelling with a first-floor side and rear extension with alterations to the roof housing a loft conversion. The proposal also seeks to provide a garage conversion with architectural detailing to the front elevation to mimic the bay windows on the other side of the property.

Description of site: The application site is a semi-detached two storey dwelling located on the south side of River Road within the town of Buckhurst Hill. The site is not situated within the Green Belt or a Conservation Area. The street comprises of semi-detached properties along the south side of the road and fencing to the north side. The application site has a generous side plot with an existing attached garage with a flat roof detail that then continues further back to the rear of the property and joining up with a previously constructed ground floor rear extension.

Relevant history: EPF/0134/84 – Erection of first floor extension – GRANT PERMISSION EPF/1291/81– Single story side extension – GRANT PERMISSION EPF/0399/78 – Single story rear extension – GRANT PERMISSION

Accordingly, please find enclosed the following: -

1. Application form signed and completed.

2. Site location plan at scale 1:1250 with the overall site outline in red along with a block plan scale 1:500 with proposal outlined in blue on drawing numbered 064/01.

3. Drawings numbered 064/ 02-05 inclusive showing the existing and proposed plans, and elevations.

4. Site photographs on photo sheet PH1-2 showing the property now.
