BuzzFeed DIY + BuzzFeed Geeky Pokémon Costumes PATTERN PDF HOW TO USE THESE PATTERNS • Find your Pokémon in the table of contents below. • Print out all of the patterns for your Pokémon on 8.5x11-inch paper at 100%. (Some clipping will occur if your printer doesn’t support edge-to-edge printing, which is OK.) • Cut out the patterns carefully along the bold lines. • A few patterns will ask you to take two pieces together. Regular office tape works just fine! Tape them together by making little loops of the tape (or by using double-stick tape), then placing them along the shared area on the pattern. Line up the second piece of the pattern so it just barely covers the entire shaded area, and press securely. • Whenever a pattern says “x1, x2, x3, x5” you only need one copy of the pattern. You’ll need to trace that pattern one, two, or five times on your materials. • Follow the step-by-step directions at the right tutorial for your costume: buzzfeed.com/nataliebrown/i-wanna-be-the-very-best 2 Table of Contents Magikarp 3 Squirtle 5 Togepi 9 Gengar 12 Venusaur 13 Snorlax 14 Vulpix 16 Charizard 19 Mew 22 Eeevee 23 Vaporeon 24 Jolteon 26 Flareon 28 Espeon 29 Umbreon 30 3 Magikarp Eye x Elbow Fin Back 2 x2 x2 Elbow Fin Front 4 Magikarp Top-of-Head Fin x2 Head Fin Filler Piece x1 5 Squirtle Shell Center x1 Shell Sides x2 6 Squirtle x2 Shell Rim Bottom and Top Pairs x4 Shell Rim x2 7 Squirtle Shell Base x2 8 Squirtle x1 Optional Squirtle gang-leader glasses *Note: The post doesn’t show you how to make these: you simply trace onto black foam.
