V1210 : THE FINAL BATTLE (USA, 5/6-5/8/1984) [TV]

Credits: director, Richard T. Heffron ; writers, Craig Buck, Diane Frolov, Peggy Goldman, Kenneth Johnson, Brian Taggert. Cast: , , , Faye Grant, Marc Singer, Michael Ironside, . Summary: The second and final installment of a two-part mini-series set in the contemporary U.S. A human-like alien race called the “Visitors” has arrived in space ships. They appear benevolent on first arrival but soon emerge as scheming deceivers (reptilians disguised as humans) who intend to enslave humanity as food and exploit the planet’s water resources. A resistance movement develops. Although the whole series suffers from weak science fiction and a campy style, in this concluding portion a couple of ex-CIA Vietnam veteran mercenaries, Ham Tyler (Ironside) and Chris Farber (Jones) join the resistance and add a hard edge and deliberate focus to the previously bland movement.
