License: USAC Annual License Required – No One-Day Licenses for this event

Categories: Masters 35+; Masters 50+ - Men & Women Juniors 10-12; Juniors 13-14; Juniors 15-16; Juniors 17-18 - Men and Women

Entry Fee: Pre-Registration - $25 for 1st Event - $5 each additional event. Pre-Registration on www.usacycling.org On-Site Registration will open at 8:00am day of event and close at 9:30am On Site Fees will be $30 for 1st Event - $10 each additional event

If riders do NOT hold a USOTC Training Pass an additional $10 fee will be charged and collected by the US Olympic Training Center. Riders who are not members of BRAC will be charged an additional $5 one-day fee. Sign up for a BRAC Membership at www.coloradocycling.org.

Riders will be required to sign an event waiver as well as USOC waiver. Riders who are 18 years of age or younger must have a parent/guardian sign the waivers.

Rules: All races will be run under USA Cycling Rules. Due to scheduling there will be some races will be run as time trials and or an abbreviated tournament – Promoter reserves the right to combine classes and/or modify schedule due to weather and/or number of entries.

Prizes: Medals will be awarded to top 3 places in each event. BRAC will award Championship Vests for the Men and Women and Endurance . More Information below on points and qualification for the omniums.

Special: All races will count towards the Colorado Track Cup Championships. Races must meet minimum requirement of riders to qualify for upgrade Points.

COLORADO STATE TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS VESTS

BRAC will give State Championship Vests to the winners in the Sprint and Endurance Omniums for Senior Men and Senior Women.

Only athletes who are current members of BRAC are eligible to earn omnium points. If an ineligible rider competes and places in the top five, their place will be vacated and the next highest placed eligible rider will be moved up and will receive the omnium points.

The following points will be awarded in each qualifying race, as described below: 1st place 7 points 2nd place 5 points 3rd place 3 points 4th place 2 points 5th place 1 point

Tie-breaking will be in accordance with the USAC rulebook.

SPRINT OMNIUM STATE CHAMPIONSHIP EVENTS The following races will count towards the Sprint Omnium: Match Sprint, 500m/1km TT and Team Sprint.

ENDURANCE OMNIUM STATE CHAMPIONSHIP The following races will count towards the Endurance Omnium: Individual Pursuit, Scratch Race, Points Race, and the Team Pursuit.

Special Rules for Team Events: No points will be awarded for any member of a Team Sprint or Team Pursuit team unless the entire team is made up of Colorado and Wyoming residents who are members of BRAC. If a rider chooses to ride on more than one team, BEFORE COMPETING he/she must declare the team that will count toward the State Championships, and any other team on which he/ she competes is ineligible to be counted in the Championships. Team riders must be at least 17 years of age to compete on a team.
