We still have a number of teams in finals so all the best to the U/17 and U/14 teams. The U/12 Black team has a must win game this weekend to qualify for the finals. We certainly wish Adam and his team all the best as they prepare for this final game. I would sincerely like to thank all the coaches and team managers in particular for their hard work over the year. Being a volunteer in the community is certainly appreciated by everyone in this club. I would also like to thank the families in our club who have embraced the Friday night get together. Our last one is this Friday with prizes and pizzas for all. Please make an effort to come on down for this event. It has been a busy season and our committee will shortly send out a letter outlining future events. There is still much to be done with finals, presentation nights, trophies and appointing coaches for the new season. If you are able to help please let us know. Please support the teams in finals and get down to watch the young Rams in action! See you all Friday night!! Have a great week everyone - GO RAMS!! The boys enjoyed working on these skills and couldn’t wait to put these skills to good use dur- ing Sunday’s game. Game day Sunday started with a really good warm up. Lots of handballs, kicking, bumps, spins and picking up the ball drills. The boys started the game much better than last week and never looked back. While there was an improvement in their marking and contested ball, it was without doubt the run and carry and handball game against the wind in the 2nd and 4th quarters that absolutely blew the coaches and parents away. The wind was at its strongest in the last quarter and the boys managed to outscore FTG by 3 goals to 2. We welcome back our head coach Mark next week and look forward to a massive effort by the un- der 8’s in the last game of the season. www.eastburwoodfc.com.au East Burwood Rams - Under 9C—BLACK Games Goals # Team Member R date Venue opposition played 2017 Lachlan Bayne 12 1 1 2/4/17 East Burwood The Basin Green Joshua Bayne 10 Gabriel Bisbal 12 1 2 23/4/17 Walker Park Mitcham Black Justin Bulzomi 11 2 3 30/4/17 East Burwood Waverley Blues Nicholas Byrne 12 1 Andrew Chard 12 4 7/5/17 L/Premiership Matthew Jackson 11 5 14/5/17 Dobson Park Upper Ferntree Jack Jones 26 1 Jack Keane 12 7 6 21/5/17 East Burwood East Ringwood Riley Kitchen 12 1 Sam Mackie 11 3 7 28/5/17 Central Reserve Glen Waverley Max Mcardle 23 8 4/6/17 East Burwood Kilsyth Max Mitchell 12 1 Jamie Moon 25 9 18/6/17 Knox Gardens Knox Black Alex Pavlou 12 1 Joshua Philpott 11 10 25/6/17 East Burwood Lysterfield Grey Zac Rosso 12 1 Ethan Ryan 12 1 11 2/7/17 Dobson Park Upper Ferntree ** Games tally as at the end of Round #12 as per sporting pulse 12 9/7/17 Ainslie Park East Ringwood 13 16/7/17 East Burwood Wantirna South 14 23/7/17 Chandler Park The Basin Green UNDER 9C—BLACK MATCH REPORT ROUND 13 EAST BURWOOD WANTIRNA SOUTH G BB SC G BB SC 1st 1st 2nd 2nd 3rd 3rd 4th No Scoring 4th No Scoring EBFC GOAL SCORERS EBFC BEST PLAYERS ON THE DAY WHOLE TEAM EFFORT COACHES COMMENTS www.eastburwoodfc.com.au East Burwood Rams - Under 9D—WHITE Games Goals # Team Member R date Venue opposition played 2017 22 Malik Alamin 13 3 Kimberley 1 4/4/17 Chirnside Park Reserve 4 Caitlin Allison 13 4 Donvale 27 Hayley Connell 13 2 23/4/17 Donvale Reserve 18 William Crawford 9 7 3 30/4/17 East Burwood Montrose Red 25 Cale Hemmersbach 6 10 Zachary Ireland 14 6 4 7/5/17 L\Premiership 16 Max Kelly 12 9 The Gateway 14 Thomas Lane 9 5 14/5/17 Lilydale Gold 14 Reserve 8 Oscar Maddison 13 6 21/5/17 East Burwood South Belgrave 5 Nathan McHugh 14 3 12 Angus McLaren 13 5 Heatherdale 7 28/5/17 Heathmont Reserve 21 Jack Pitt 14 5 Chirnside Park 2 Layla Rowe 14 4 8 4/6/17 East Burwood Gold 11 Sam Sell 13 9 18/6/17 Donvale Reserve Donvale 7 Ben Sinclair 12 5 3 Joshua Smith 11 2 10 25/6/17 Chandler Park The Basin White 1 Jake Soddu 14 15 9 Jake Stone 12 4 11 2/7/17 East Burwood Coldstream 20 Oscar Wright 14 4 North Ringwood 12 9/7/17 East Burwood ** Games tally as at the end of Round #13 as per sporting pulse Black Montrose 13 16/7/17 Recreation Montrose Red Reserve 14 23/7/17 East Burwood Rowville Gold UNDER 9D— WHITE MATCH REPORT ROUND 13 EAST BURWOOD MONTROSE RED G BB SC G BB SC 1st 1st 2nd 2nd 3rd 3rd 4th No Scoring 4th No Scoring EBFC GOAL SCORERS Max Kelly Nath McHugh Lyla Rowe Cale Hemmersbach EBFC BEST PLAYERS ON THE DAY Tom Lane Lyla Rowe Joshy Smith Angus McLaren COACHES COMMENTS Not too sure what we have done to upset the people organising the Super Sunday draw but we were the only team not to play at home.
