Special Grants and IT Donations Report (2015)

The EIB Institute aims at promoting local philanthropy by channeling support through donations of IT equipment that is no longer used by the EIB Group, to non-profit organisations, local community centres or schools.

Furthermore, the Institute managed the following special donations (details on page 2):

2 - Beneficiaries of decommissioned IT equipment in 2015

In total 339 desktop PCs and 682 laptops, corresponding to a total of 58 requests, were donated in 2015, to beneficiaries located in (36%), Luxembourg (17%), Belgium (14%), Bulgaria (9%), Slovakia (4%), Germany and Kenya (3%), Albania, Hungary, Lithuania, Morocco, Romania, Spain and Tunisia (2% each).
